Sin with Grace

I am so fortunate that whatever used to have power over me no longer does and that is all I even know right now. It will never win again. Love is not my game to win in this lifetime. That's okay because there's companions and best friends and gardens, there's learning to give back massages, painting and summertime. There's confidantes, there's concerts and theres puppies. I doubt that I can truly just say it's over but I already knew I needed to not get into a relationship now, so this makes it easier. I'm honestly okay with you running away, shutting down, and me not letting my body become your prison your perpetuate your feelings in. I will always and forever be done to that psyche. The end.

Get through your sadness and really get through it. The darkest day will come and you'll be more ready than the best of them.
