Base rules:

♥End goal: Make Newcrest colourful

♥ Live in Newcrest

♥ Sims houses and looks must be based of each colour. Skin colour doesn't matter

♥ Lifespan: Normal

♥ Each generation has a set of rules please refer to each one

♥ Each generation starts with 30k and You can use Freerealestate to buy your land

♥ You need to start with an empty shell or make your own house

♥ You can marry other generations however their children need to represent the mixed colour. I.e Red and Yellow = Orange, Orange and blue = Brown etc

♥ Generations do not need to be related. However if you wish to play with them as a true generation just swap over violet and indigo so you don't get stopped by indigos child restrictions

♥ You can have 2 separate sims (white and black) living in the neighbour to use for one generation. I.e. Red and white marry making pink however white then cannot be used to marry into other generations

♥ No cheats unless its building related

I’m absolutely devastated that my blog is gone. A full years work basically disappeared, and tumblr just got back to me and said there was nothing they could do to help me recover. I’m still in shock to be honest.

But I will be rebuilding. And honestly, I wonder if part of this is a blessing in disguise in some aspects.

This week I will be focusing on rebuilding my site, and searching google cache to try and find as many of my posts as I possibly can to save them. So far I’ve managed to find a good deal...but a lot of the early chapters still appear to be lost to me. We shall see what happens. I’m giving myself until Friday to scour the internet but then after that I will take stock of what I have (and putting them together with my notes...thank god I wrote outlines) and slowly start piecing my story back together.

Yes, I am just that crazy that I will work to bring back the entire story. After all, it’s my baby, and I know so many of you love it just as much as I do. Not to mention in future I’ve considered turning my story into a novel, so recovering the full story is important to me. I’m slightly annoyed as this was going to be the week I backed up everything too...what sort of luck is that?

So for a few months this blog will be sort of a rerun. I will be posting everything in order again, working to bring us back to exactly where we left off. And remember that blessing I talked about?

I will also be rewriting some things. Most importantly, chapter one. I was never fully happy with it, and I left out so much of what I wanted to write. It’s also the only chapter I never outlined because I was merely testing the waters to see how I felt telling a story on tumblr. So now, with this unfortunate opportunity I’ve been presented with, I’m going to take the chance given to me and attempt to turn this into a positive experience, and finally tell chapter one the right way. So there will be new scenes for you to see as I recover and rebuild. (I may also give some of the elders a makeover so that not everyone is gray haired 😉)

I hate to say that because of this chapter eight is now indefinitely on hold. This blog is my baby, and if everything isn’t there, then It will just depress me, and so the only way to recover and grieve this loss is to work to rebuild everything from scratch. So while I’m doing all of this for you all, I’m doing this mostly for myself.

Please help me by reblogging this post, to help me spread the word about what happened to me, and helping me rebuild in this small way. I’m sure there are still so many who are unaware of what’s happened, and it would be nice to see everyone back around on my blog...I’ll need all the positive energy and support I can get. ❤️

Hi everyone! Never thought I’d have to write one of these posts but here we are. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Ali. I’m an American opera singer currently living in Florence, Italy, where I’m training at a studio and preparing for the next step in my professional career.

A dream come true? Absolutely. But if you have followed me for a long time, you’ll know I have faced some very intense (and extremely expensive) struggles throughout the process of trying to obtain my Italian. I’m very glad to say that after seven months of tears, several rebooked flights and financial meltdowns later, I have my visa; however, I’m now facing another issue. Because of all the costs accrued while trying to get my visa, I’m now in a position where I can barely afford to even buy groceries, or keep a roof over my head.

I’m not someone who likes to rely on other people for support, but at this point I’m left with no other option. I can’t pay my rent this month (which is already three days late) and that’s the ugly truth. I’m currently waiting for my US stimulus check and I’m doing my very best to recruit more voice students (if you want singing lessons over Zoom with a professional singer, do get it touch!), but with my situation I’ve had to put my pride aside and find ways to make money to survive. So here I am, asking if you can spare anything to help in my moment of need.

Now, I’m aware things aren’t easy for most people, and I truly appreciate you even taking the time to read this post. THIS SHIT WORKS OKAY, I AM DEAD SERIOUS.

The last time I saw this on my dash, I didn’t think it would happen, so jokingly I wished I could go to a fun. concert.

AND GUESS WHAT, I WENT TO A FUCKING FUN. CONCERT.

I SAW THIS ON MY DASH THE OTHER DAY AND THOUGHT “ITS WORTH A TRY” SO I WISHED I COULD GET A 3DS

LITERALLY LIKE 4 DAYS LATER MY DAD SENT ME A PICTURE OF THE 3DS XL HE BOUGHT FOR ME WHILE I WAS AT SCHOOL

As we all know, one of the most recent Sims 4 patch updates broke virtually every piece of window and door custom content available. While many of us waited with bated breath for a fix, generous and extremely talented Simmers and CC creators graciously either fixed some of the windows and doors themselves or provided extremely thorough and detailed instructions on how to fix the doors and windows.

Felixandre is one of the biggest CC creators for the Sims 4. He has created upwards of 200 doors and windows, for which he charges absurd prices. And for the last month, he has neglected to fix the windows and doors, despite the existence of relevant literature carefully detailing exactly how he could fix them without a Sims 4 Studios update.

Today, Felixandre released fixed doors and windows for the Sims 4. To put it lightly, they suck. The windows and doors are surrounded by black dots and lines, and one of windows has a massive gap in between the windowsill and the wall, large enough to be noticeable during a play test. There was clearly not a play test.

This is ridiculous. Felixandre made his patrons (all of whom pay at least $5 a month) wait an entire month for “fixed” windows only for them to be broken. And he made people pay for the broken replacements.

Felixandre currently has 3652 patrons and his minimum membership level costs $5/month. That means Felixandre is making at least $18,260 a month. That means Felixandre is making at least $219,210 a year. And that calculation assumes that all 3652 of his patrons belong to the minimum tier, meaning that his actual income from creating CC is likely much, much higher.

I, for one, do not think this quality of work is worth him getting paid over $200,000 a year.
