Dahlia - “Hello, I will take the tofu curry” 

Food Clerk - “Okay, 7 Simoleans. Should be ready in just a few minutes”

Dahlia pays the clerk, grabs her food and looks for a table in the town square. 

Corbin - “Hey Dahlia! What’s up?” 

Dahlia - “Corbin, hey! Just giving the curry a try here. This is my first time grabbing some food from this food stall. I’ve heard there are a bunch of great food stalls in the city.”

Corbin - “Yea, I can imagine. I’ve only really explored this district, but I heard from a co-worker that the art district can have some good food.” 

Dahlia - “No doubt. Do you need to eat? You can join me if you want.” 

Corbin - “Nah I’m not hungry, actually I’m coming back from a good meal with some co-workers.” 

Dahila, disappointed, starts eating her curry. 

Corbin - “But I can sit and hang out for a bit. I’m in no rush.”

Corbin - “WOAH... what? What was that?”

Dahlia coughs while fire erupts from her mouth! 

Corbin - “What is going on? Are you okay?”

Dahlia coughs.... and keeps coughing - “Yea, I”m okay,” choking back some more coughs.  

Corbin gets up and steps away. “Well that was random. You should probably go see a doctor.” 

Dahlia - “It was just a little spicy, I think I’ll be okay.”

Corbin - “Hmm? Well I haven’t had anything spicy before, but after seeing that, not sure if I want to” 

Dahila - “Oh no, don’t be discouraged! You just have to get used to the spicy tastes. I bet once I get used to the spicy taste, I won’t breath fire.” 

Dahlia and Corbin laugh and then continue to catch up and get to know each other. An hour passes and Corbin asks for Dahlia’s number! 

Eliza - “So what exactly was missing again?”

Dahlia - “The Oxypin particle count”

Eliza - “And Remmy said it was AnD401D that removed the count?”

Dahlia - “Yes.”

Eliza - “Hm? It just doesn’t make any sense because to use this you need a personal identification scan (PIS) and that should be embedded in the database”

Dahlia - “And no one could just scrub the PIS? Could they keep the account? What if it was a hack?!”

Eliza - “I don’t think it would be a hack. Remmy’s hardware and software is a pretty held tight secret. To hack something like Remmy, you would need to understand the software which isn’t public anywhere. A hack just doesn’t make sense.”

Dahlia - “Have you found anything about AnD401D?”

Eliza - “No nothing.”

Eliza - “I give up, it’s been hours and the information in Remmy is blocked by even his AI capabilities. I’m not going to be able to crack this”

This is Anika Coronova!

First, the reason I have a lack of content this week is due to traveling and studying. When I first began this simblr, my only time commitment was full time work - def can get busy with a side blog, but manageable. Now I am in process of studying for a big test that requires 300+ of studying for 3 months, so my free time each week has been cut significantly.

During this time, I will still post daily. I’m thinking Tues-Sat. Main content is going to likely be nsb gameplay, a build every other week and a lookbook here and there. I have every intention of returning to my more heavy content schedule after I complete my test at the end of May.

Dahlia is laying in bed in her apartment when she hears some loud noises coming from the apartment next door. It’s a two unit per floor apartment building, so she knows exactly who to blame. 

Dalia - “Hello! Can you keep it down?! It’s a midnight on a week night. Some of us need to sleep.”

 She’s fuming!

Dahlia tends to workout in the mornings, so it is especially tough to get up early when she can’t fall asleep early.

Dahlia - “I would appreciate it if you kept it down.”

Arun - “Hey, I don’t tell you how to live your life. I think you should just go back in your little apartment and take a chill pill.”

Dahlia - “Excuse me!? I do not need a chill pill. You need to be more considerate. You don’t tell me how to live my life, because I’m a good neighbor and I expect the same from you!”

Arun laughs - “I think you’re just jealous that I have a lively loud life and you have nothing better to do than just to hear what your neighbors are up to. Maybe buy some headphones.”

Dahlia - “I have plenty of good, fun people in my life. Again, I am just considerate! Maybe I just don’t have such low self esteem that I have to make everyone in the building aware that my life is “fun.” Just keep it down!”

After making the freeze-ray, Dahlia goes to the town square to play some pick-up basketball.

The other sims that she meet that day were playing HORSE and she decided to give it a shot.

Dahlia throws a few great hoops and stumps the other players.

Dahlia - “Hey Remmy.”

Remmy - “Dahlia, so nice to see you. It has been three weeks, two days, and 14.05 hours since I’ve seen you last.”

Dahlia giggles - “It’s good to see you again too Remmy.” 

Remmy - “What brings you here today?”

Dahlia - “I completed some schematics and calculations to build a handheld.. err... um... ray gun.”

Remmy - “Ray Gun - synchronize schematics - error. Did you feed me the schematics yet? I can’t seem to find them in my database.”

Dahlia - “No, I’m entering the schematics now.”

Remmy - “Processing. Processing. Recommended update: Cylinder two should be three quarters to the right of suction straw. Recommended update: Oxypin and Alabaster quantities miscalculated - Increase Oxypin portion.”

Dahlia - “Recommendation one commence. Recommendation two, recalculate. Remmy, I checked those numbers several times. Do you have updated particle counts for Oxypin in your database?”

Remmy - “Recalculated recommendation number two - Increase Oxypin portion.”

Dahlia - “When was your last particle count update for Oxypin?”

Remmy - “Searching database - Three years, four months, one day and 03.35 hours ago.”

Dahlia - “What? I’m checking your database logs. Update the Oxpin particle counts and recalculate recommendation number two please.”

Remmy - “Oxypin particle count updated. Recommendation number two withdrawn. Complete Freeze Ray.”

Dahlia - “Great work Remmy! Do you know why you weren’t updated properly.”

Remmy - “Oxypin particle count removed by AnD401D”

Dahlia -”What? Who is that user?”

Remmy - “Anonymous individual.”

After a long day of working on calculations for the ray gun that Eva, Eliza and Dahlia discussed, Dahlia decided to get some fresh air and walk around the town square. 

Corbin - “Hey wait up... hey mint hair!”

Dahlia turns around, ready to give the lunatic who called her by her hair color a piece of her mind, but then realizes that this lunatic is particularly attractive. She’s still annoyed by the way he got her attention, but can’t help but feel a bit more amenable to the upcoming interaction because of his aura. 

Dahlia - “Um.. Hello.”

Corbin - “You dropped your phone. Hey wait?”

Dahlia - “Oh goodness, thank you, but wait what?”

Corbin - “Weren’t you out here the other day, protesting?”

Dahlia - “Oh, yea I was. Why, are you interested in joining the cause?”

Corbin - “Um, well I don’t know much about the cause, but I’m new to town and was hoping to get involved somehow.”

Dahlia - “No kidding, I’m new to town too. You can join on this website.”

Corbin - “Thanks, I’ll take a look the orgs I can join. Do you live in the area?”

Dahlia - “Yea, I’m actually right in that apartment building over there.”

Corbin - “I”m right over there.”

Dahlia - “Well, I guess I might see you around?”

Corbin - “Definitely.”
