Hellooooo

I remember giving birth to my sweet baby boy, although it was not too long ago. A year and 2 months to be exact. He was somewhat nice to me in the womb, other than the fact that I couldn’t sleep and kicking me 24/7. It made me feel better knowing he was safe. When I gave birth to this child, it wasn’t one of those moments I thought I would have. In a sense, I was happy. Mainly I was scared, nervous, and kind of upset. I had given away my freedom, alone time. I was in-charge of this human. I had to teach this baby boy right from wrong. Every mistakes comes down to me. I had to protect this child, and I damn near wanted to jolt up and leave but I love him so much at that moment I laid eyes on him. Throughout the days in the hospital and months after, I barely slept. I wanted to always make sure he was okay. I always stared at him, making sure he was breathing. I’ve been with him every step of the way, letting him make mistakes and watching him grow. It’s the most beautiful thing in the world that I have been given and I wouldn’t change it for anything.
