Also on another note- I have this very pretentious goal to a) buy a piano one day and b) learn how to PLAY the piano and know most of the common hymnals and primary songs!!! Cause hello that is a super useful skill, anddddd I just want our home to be filled with music like mine was growing up ❤️

A home.

A little hesitant to adult THIS hard, but mostly oh so excited to start filling our own home with love and making it our own and preparing it to bring home allllll the babies and puppies!!! Hahaha really though, when our offer got accepted I kept telling Thomas: “oh my stars!! We are buying the home we will bring most of our babies home to from the hospital!!” That feels so surreal to me, and so so so magical. I just want create the perfect little environment for babes to play in the backyard, to be taught in the living room, to make cookies on the countertop, and just run around with their tiny little feet and tiny tiny little toes. So many moments will take place in this home and it feels so special to start this process of getting the inspection and all the due diligence with buying a home- knowing that!!

A few things:

1. Last night I felt like a real nurse. Haha and Rachel and I always used the say that’s what RN actually stands for: Real Nurse. So weird and crazy to finally be here!

2. My new bosses are the cutest and I am soooo happy I can already joke around with my unit educator and main preceptor, because hello... we all need some humor in the middle of the night to stay awake 😅

3. The number one thing I am most excited about my days off is organizing every single corner of this tiny casita and dejunking all the things we don’t need! Hurray for having ME time finally!!

4. I had forgotten how much I love baking and cooking. Also beyond excited to continue doing that on my days off.

5. I still want to buy a house just so I can buy all the puppies, and then have a million babies. Or four, or six. Haha but main point is that lately I just want a house full of puppies and babies- because hey, I’m not a student anymore! 😂🐶👶🏻🐶👶🏻🐶👶🏻🐶👶🏻🐶

6. This went from a few things to a LOT of things hahah 🤦🏻‍♀️

Guilted my sister into doing a “poolside” barre class with me this AM. And after much debate if it was in the pool or poolside and literally 5 outfit changes on my behalf we headed out. And I realized I really am living the dream when this is the most difficult part of the day. (Apart from watching the ocean almost murder my husband). (at Marriott’s Kauai Lagoons—Kalanipu’u)
