The hypocrisy of the fandom becomes very apparent when it comes to the Mary/Mulciber and James/Severus situations.

The facts are:

Mulciber attempted something on Mary that involved Dark Magic.

He DID NOT commit sexual assault. That's not Canon.

But the fandom invented sexual assault on his part in order to portray Mulciber (and, by being his friend, Severus) as evil.

James, on the other hand, DID assault Severus.

It was sexual assault.

He actually did it.

But the fandom does not care, because the victim is Severus and the perpetrator is James.

But for some reason they totally forgets that the marauders also did the same thing. For example they made mean comments about Severus’s nose ( in SWM ).

They have some kind of moral double standard, lol. When their favorite characters do something bad, it doesn't matter, but when Snape makes a sarcastic comment, he's a monster you can't like.

Snape is very girlcoded because a girl can be super angry with her friend and not speak for years and the relationship can be a total mess, but I’m telling you, if someone kills her one day, that guy better start running because you’re going to plot the biggest, slowest revenge ever and work on ruining him until the day you die and at the same time her husband’s life doesn’t matter at all, because what girl cares about her friend’s husband? I used to think the hype around Money Heist/La casa de papel was overblown, so I didn’t watch it.
