Here is a simple method for converting a base 2 (binary) number to base 10 (decimal). Each binary number (the blue tiles) are worth a value represented by the top pink tiles. 1 is positive, 0 is negative in the binary tiles. Simply add the positive ( 1's ) together using their values on the top line. In this case, 64+8+4+1 in binary = 77 in decimal.
