Just thinking about Simon in episode 5, and how open and happy he was here, even though he and Wille had just been interrupted while making out. How he joked around and messed with Wille by being extra noisy, like he didn't care at all if they were caught by Malin.

when he went to the grocery store after the video was leaked

how brave he was when he drove off the one (of probably many) reporter who came knocking at his door

how brave he was to show up to hillerska after everything

how brave he was to be alone with wille again even when everyone at school knew that there was something going on between them

how brave he was to juggle a dysfunctional family and on top of that a sex tape to his name

how brave he was to stand up for himself and putting himself first when he ended things with wille even if it broke him

how brave he is when he will continue going to hillerska knowing that the person who ruined his life is probably right there

how brave he is even after all the shit he's been through

i don't think we talk about how brave wille was

when he sat huddled alone on his bed after the video was leaked, and having to apologise to his mother for something he was clearly a victim of

how brave he was when he showed up for his regular classes even after everything

how brave he was to be alone with simon again even when everyone at school knew that there was something going on between them

how brave he was when he stood up to his mother ("why can't i be in a relationship with him") as a final effort to fight for himself and simon

how brave he was to uphold the pressure of an ages old system he doesn't want on top of the death of his sibling and now a sex tape to his name

how brave he was to hug the boy he was supposed to avoid now in front of his entire school, and told him that he loved him

how brave he is when he will continue going to hillerska knowing that the person whom he was supposed to trust ruined his life would be there

They are ALWAYS leaving rooms together, going away from public places to smaller private ones.

The party, when Wille followed Simon. The movie night. Sitting with him at parents day. Going to his dorm with him while high. Hanging out during workies. Talking during rowing. Constantly leaving the group to go talk to Simon privately.

to start off it’s so vulnerable. both in the phrasing of the request itself as well as the context. since he was seeking comfort wille could have asked for a hug but instead he asked to be held. while both phrasings would have accomplished what he needed there’s something more intimate about asking to be held. about opening up and being vulnerable like that. during this interaction wille is the one laid bare both physically and emotionally. he’s told simon he likes him. he’s put all his cards on the table and doesn’t know how simon feels. sure simon kissed him once but that was before erik died and before wille cut him out of his life. wille has no clue how simon currently feels. yet he still requests, not asks, to be held.

this is also the first time wille asks for some form of comfort and actually receives it. the only time before this we see wille verbally seek comfort is in the first episode when he asks erik not to go and then shortly after we see wille text his mom asking if he can go home. while he’s not asking for physical comfort in either of these scenarios he is still denied comfort both times. simon is the first one who hears wille’s request and grants it instead of leaving him to comfort himself.
