Their first time(s) was amazing. They both felt like they’ve cheated the rules of the universe by having a good first time experience, since the majority of people don’t.
It wasn’t planned. There was no candles or flower petals or soft music. It happened spontaneously.
After yet another fight with his father over his relationship with Jeremy, Simon shows up at Jeremy’s house at 1am. It’s pouring rain but Jeremy can still see the tears streaming down Simon’s face. He ushers him inside quickly wrapping a towel around him.
Jeremy lights the fire in his sitting room before telling Simon to go up and take a shower. “Won’t I wake up your family?”, Simon’s worried he’s caused enough fuss already but he just had to escape. Jeremy pecks his lips and tells him that he’s home alone, again. His parents travel a lot for work but he’s used to it.
Simon takes a hot shower and changes into some clothes Jeremy left in the bathroom for him. When he comes downstairs Jeremy is watching tv. He has two big mugs of tea on the coffee table in front of him. It looks like heaven to Simon.
When he sits down in, Jeremy wraps a blanket around both of them and pulls him into his side, kissing his still puffy eyes and forehead.
They drink their tea, watch a little tv and talk for about an hour. It’s almost 4am but neither of them even notice.
Simon then checks his phone to see the time and is shocked when it reads 4am. He begins apologizing profusely to Jeremy but Jeremy just giggles. He tells him how amazing it’s been just sitting in front of the fire with him all night and accidentally blurts out that he loves him.
Simon is initially shocked. He can see Jeremy wince a bit. “Shit Simon… I’m.. I’m so sorry I shouldn’t have said that”
“Shouldn’t have said it because you didn’t mean it or-”, Simon’s shock slowly disappears and is replaced by confusion.
“No no, I mean, I meant it. I.. I love you. Like so much. But, I don’t wanna freak you out I know you probably don’t feel the same and you’re still figuring things out but I just think you’re amazing and I’ve always felt like I can do anything when I’m around you and now I’m rambling like a fucking idiot I’m so sor-”
Simon cuts him off by pressing his lips to Jeremy’s. The kiss is quick but soft and sentimental.
He pulls away and rests his forehead on Jeremy’s. “I know I’m still figuring things out. And I’m not sure about a lot of things right now but… I love you too”
Jeremy’s wide eyes cause Simon to laugh a bit. “You.. you do?” “Yes, Jeremy Travers I love you. I love you so much. I don’t care about anything else that’s going wrong in my life as long as I have you”.
They needed each other. They knew it.
They shared another kiss and it was perfect.
The warm heat radiating from the fire and the rain hitting against the window was heaven. It was like a scene from a movie.
The kiss got deeper. It was slow and full of passion and longing. Simon reached down and pulled Jeremy’s shirt over his head, then kissing down his neck and collarbone. Jeremy closed his eyes and threw his head back. He couldn’t describe the emotions he was feeling at that moment.
He proceeded to take Simon’s shirt off. But he was being careful. His body was telling him to keep going but he his head was telling him to stop. Just as things were getting heated, he brought his hands up to Simon’s shoulders gently pushing him away.
“What’s wrong?”“Nothing, nothing I just think we should take it slow”
Simon shifted uncomfortably.
“You.. you don’t want to”
He looked visibly hurt, and it broke Jeremy’s heart.
“Oh god no, Simon of course I do. I really do”“Then why-”“I just.. I just don’t want you doing something you’re not ready for. That you’ll regret. I really don’t want to mess this up”“Jeremy. I’m not doing anything I’m not ready for. I promise. I want this. I want you”
Jeremy still looked hesitant.
“Jer.. I need you. Please trust me”
Simon seemed sincere but Jeremy was still a bit worried.
“Okay but promise me you’ll stop if you don’t feel comfortable-”
He didn’t even get to finish his sentence before Simon’s lips were back on his neck. He moaned and his hands found their way into Simon’s hair.
They ended up on the floor, in front of the fire. Their experience was amazing. It was slow and sensual and soft.
Afterwards, they lay there. Both covered in a thin layer of sweat. Simon lay on Jeremy’s chest, smiling to himself. He lifted his head and balanced on his elbow. Then he wiped Jeremy’s hair out of his eyes and rested his hand on Jeremy’s cheek. They just stared into each other’s eyes for a few moments before Simon leaned in, closing the gap between them.
Jeremy smiled, pulling Simon into his chest and wrapping the blanket around both of them. He kissed his hair before whispering “I love you too”
They eventually fell asleep, listening to the cackling of the fire beside them and the rain that was still pelting off of the window. Their bodies ached a little but neither of them had felt so comfortable and safe in each other’s embraces before in their lives.
It was an experience that neither of them will ever forget.
