they’re in love, they’re just mean

In no particular order:

* the concert in Central Park where Art says “I’m so in the mood” and Paul has to cope with that.

* Their Monterey Pop set, which Paul organized. He himself selected red lighting for them, and then made a suggestive comment about how he the lighting makes him think of other things he’s in the mood for. (Paraphrasing that but it’s real.)

* This video where Paul is grilled about the fact he writes songs about women mistreating him and he says he didn’t realize he did that. (Maybe…because they’re all about art LOL)

* ^^ a poem by Art in which he confirms that “why don’t you write” is about him

* Paul’s letter and gift to Art for his 48th birthday

* Literally any of the quotes of Art speaking in recent years where he’s just endlessly apologetic and pleading that people remember he loves Paul.

* The fact that Artie encouraged Paul to keep writing and gave him the support and confidence he needed to perform.
