so with this we did something that hasn’t been done before, we decided to collab four people on a little something. @simonanddemi, @joys-stuff, @idreamtofdemi and myself wrote this together and we’re pretty happy with the result so we hope you all like it.

“I don’t want either! I want you to come with me!”

He frowned confused at her sudden… tantrum, for lack of a better word, and then sighed when he watched her run upstairs, a loud wood on wood sound echoing through the house right after. He looked down to his hand, the three black credit cards he had offered were still there, looking up at him as if innocently and just as confused as he was.  He quickly slipped them onto his wallet and dropped it over their living room coffee table before rushing up the stairs after her. He didn’t really know what had just happened or why she had all of a sudden snapped like that, but after hearing the annoyance and hurtful mixture in her voice he had some ideas. After all, it wasn’t the first time she demanded his attention, most of it, all of it, and even more than he knew he had to give.

this is for @lovatos-little-skyscraper. i enjoyed being your santa and i hope you like this, i’m no good with fluff so i went another way but i hope these 3k+ words make up for it! :)

She struggled to make sense of the situation she had gotten herself into. How was it again? The answer seemed to escape her.

I know that was yesterday for you, but still, I hope you like this and it makes your holidays just a little bit better because talking to you made mine perfect! It was so tricky talking to you every day as myself and your Secret Santa, so if you knew it was me pretend that you didn’t :P

This is based on a song we both love and can relate to, and I really hope I at least came close to doing it justice. It should be easy writing from experience, but this was harder than I thought.

Most of literature’s genius novelists often describe heartache as the most abominable of aches, and while he was far from a literature genius and dared not to call himself a novelist after years of not writing a single word, he too agreed with all of his wise mentors; it was atrocious. And what he really couldn’t wrap his brain around was that as much as his soul, heart and body ached at the sight of them leaving, the feeling could not be compared to what he felt afterwards, back in the safety of his home, trapped within very familiar walls, with his words as tangled together as his emotions.

He had taught himself to deal with things by understanding them, and as a person who writes, and the natural observant soul he carried, it was a necessity rather than a tool to get himself by. He needed to word things out, he needed them to come together like a fine piece of literature so his brain could take in what he was feeling. He needed to be, if not in control, aware. Within this fact was the reason for his rather silent exasperation. He had managed not to fall apart while watching her tender body walk away from him, he had held himself up while Ruby’s loud and baby-sweet ‘Aimon!’ echoed from her little lips to his ears, he had gotten himself back home, driven safely, walked up the stairs and finally sat down on his sofa, but while he seemed collected and his breathing seemed fine, inside he was suffocating.

alright so since there were more than enough people to pull this off, which i honestly really wasn’t expecting, here’s the official post.

- send a message to dimonsecretsanta saying you would like to participate on november 28th the latest. you will get a reply with the url of the person you are assigned to on december 1st the latest, if not, please send another message in case the first one got lost or whatever.

- once you’ve received that reply, your job begins. send them an anonymous message at least twice a week, ask them questions about themselves/dimon, get to know them and make them feel special. remember to let them know in every message that it’s from their secret santa.

- make them something dimon related as the final present, it can be anything you want to make (gifsets/fanfiction/videos/whatever you can think of) based on what they would like. post it on december 24th or december 25th and make sure to tag them and #dimon. 

- following me and @dimonsecretsanta is also a good idea for updates and stuff. you can ask me questions about info and all that but all “official” messages should go to dimonsecretsanta. (that blog is run by someone else so i’m able to take part as well)

- please send a message to @dimonsecretsanta if you have to “drop out” as soon as possible.

- remember to have anonymous asks open so your secret santa can get to you.
