Simmingly Strange

Long time, no see! Things have been very hectic the last few months, what with work and the final bits of my degree. The good news is that on thursday I presented my thesis and I’m now officially Strange, MSc :D Congratulate me! (For those curious and not in the know, I did my master’s in computer science, which is also what I studied for my bachelor’s. I’ve been at this crap for 7 years. That is just. Painful.)

Besides that, Sims/simblr isn’t doing it for me lately. This doesn’t mean I’m leaving, but I really can’t say when/if I’ll be posting again. HOWEVER, I am pretty active on my “personal” blog and my gaming blog runs on a queue, so that’s where any new content is gonna end up. I’m also on Steam (just let me know who you are if you add me as a friend, as I tend to ignore random friend invites!). Even though I don’t miss the game, I miss hanging with you guys! Feelings! Gross!

More on life for those so inclined: Things are still pretty busy as I have a couple lectures to give next week and after that I’m heading over to Sweden for a conference (and also for chillaxing over fika). Once I get home it’s back to work as I’ll need to look into internships/work for the short term and phD programs for next year. If all goes well, this will involve some long-distance relocating, so that’ll be a handful (but also very very positive, so fingers crossed!)
