I was tagged by the lovely lizarella 107 days ago to post a little about me! I think. Since I’m just getting this now I’m not going to tag anyone lol but I’ll post mine! :)

Name: Leah Age: 21 Gender: Female Race/Ethnicity: Caucasian Height: 5’4 Favorites Food: Tacos! I could eat them any day of the week. Or chicken. Chicken is super yummy! Drink: Non-alcoholic would be coke! Alcoholic would be sambuca mixed with Barqs root beer ;) Book: I have way too many favorite books. The Harry Potter series, Through Violet Eyes, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Snow Falling on Cedars, The Stupidest Angel, Running with Scissors, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Reader, The Glass Castle, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Hollow City...Just to name a few lol. Male Actor: I don’t think I have one. :c Female Actor: I have to agree with Liz. Jennifer Lawrence is a goddess and no one can convince me otherwise. Family My family is my lovingly blunt Grandmother, AJ, Jerry, Mable (bearded dragon), Dipper (african fat tailed gecko) and Peanut (cute fat cat). I’m not too close to anyone else TBH hahaha. Other Stuff Dream Job: Stay at home mom would be an optimal choice but if I must go out and work I’d love to open my own day care! Fears: FIRE. I am literally terrified of fire. My biggest fear is our apartment will catch on fire and I won’t be able to get Mable, Dipper and Peanut out. Religion: None. Piercing: None :) I used to have my ears pierced, many eons ago. Languages: English. Hobbies: Well I really like to play games (The Sims, TERA Rising, IMVU, Mabinogi), read, write and now cook :) I also collect Monster High dolls, so I spent a bit of time looking for steals on the internet. Tumblr Reason behind my url: my main blog is AppleCakez, so it felt fitting to keep cakez in the name. Why you joined: Well I started my main blog because my best friend had one and really wanted me to join. I loved it but sort of wished I had a place to post about my Sims. Another friend of mine told me about simblrs, and together we planned on starting a shared blog. When that didn't work out I went off on my own and made Simblrcakez. :) # of blogs: I have two! Though sometimes I think about starting a separate blog for my Monster High stuff. I’m pretty sure I’d name is MonsterCakez...Maybe I’ll go reserve that now! :D

Everyone deserves a reason to smile, right? I started this fundraiser to help raise money for my fiance, AJ. He made some bad decisions as a kid and because of those decisions ended up losing almost all of his teeth. His mouth is full of painful, raw nerves and the list of foods he can eat are almost non-existant. He gets infections more often than not and it's killing me to watch him in pain almost 24/7. The few dentists we've seen said he needed to have all of teeth/roots removed, and at only 24 years old it's devastating news. Any money raised will be put towards the medical procedures he needs to take his teeth/roots out and get fitted with dentures, as well as any medications needed to fight infections. Any and all help is appreciated! Even just signal boosting this means the world to me.

I know I haven’t been on lately guys but can you please check this out? I started a YouCaring page to raise money and help my fiance get the medical help he needs. I know I haven’t been on but this is mega important to me. AJ is my entire world and watching him be in pain from eating things like bread tears me apart.

i'm aliiiive

well, sort of.

i ended up taking a very very long break from TS3/TS4. I uninstalled all of my TS3 games and very rarely play TS4. Things kind of went bottom up here - I lost my job, my fiance got a job, I got depressed and stopped, well, doing everything. I'm getting back to normal, slowly, but i cannot promise healthy updates from here on out. i may reinstall TS3 and post about that, but i lost all of my families. ughhh

HOW TO ADD SIMS WITHOUT LOSING HOMES

For anyone who doesn’t already know…

You can add all your favorite sims to your town without them taking up the few homes you have in your world.

Step 1: You should already have a sim in town you are playing.

Step 2: While playing your active sim open "game options"

Step 3: Then open "Manage Worlds" and go to the gallery

Step 4: Find the sim you want to add to town and click "Bring Household into Neighborhood." (Put them in a starter home)

Step 5: Now click their home and say "Evict"

You’re Done!

This sim is now in town and you will randomly see them out and about but not taking up space.

If you ever want to remove them from town completely, just go into "Households Management" and they are under the "Unplayed" tab in the "Not in town section".

I do not reblog things like this very often, but this affects me both personally and my business as a freelance artist.

In the economy here; cash is already strapped as it is. You bet your ass companies would suck the ever living life out of misc. art sites.

I don’t want it to ever come down to me choosing between groceries or purchasing a new tier package via comcast to be able to access tumblr or DeviantArt (let alone not guaranteeing I’ll even be seen by my customer base since they may not want to pay out their asses either). It doesn’t seem important to most, but I do 90% of my business online entirely.

Please sign up, fight for this and share it with your followers/friends/family and urge them to give them hell as well.

Not writing related, but this is incredibly important. While we pay for service via ISPs, the internet has been a relatively free space where everyone, no matter their income level, is able to connect, access a wealth of information, and express themselves. The Internet has become a major part of our culture as human beings and the notion that ISPs might be able to limit what sites I can access unless I pay them more is utterly sickening. A lot of us are cash strapped as is, and I’d rather not be limited even more by someone else’s greed. Net Neutrality is essential and I hope you guys will understand why it needs to remain.
