Listening intently, her fingers swiped over the
brunette tresses. Nodding in understanding to
her comment as she felt the corners of her lips
stretch out unknowingly smiling at the simple
compliment about her name.
❝I see, you’re the first one I’ve met with that
name. Ah, well. Let’s say my dad had quite a
great taste in names.❞
A playful remark seeps out of the space between
her lips, reaching over for the other’s hand for a
polite shake when slender fingers coiled around
the palm. Letting it go within seconds.
❝Anyways, since we’re buddies now. Let’s
start off with the cliche questions, how’s your
day so far?❞
—— Silver was glad to see her remark of the
girl’s name brought a smile to her face,
which, in return, brought a smile to her
own face.
❝ I hear that a lot, honestly. I actually like the fact
that my parents made that my English name. Well,
I was born in the States, you see. And I didn’t like
being called my Korean name at school, I guess . .
The other kids called it weird and most couldn’t
even pronounce it! ❞
She brought a hand towards her mouth
just slightly as she let out a light chuckle
at the thought back in the day.
❝ Ah, cliche questions are the best, aren’t they?
Haha. But my day’s been well, really! Just rather
uneventful since it’s the weekends now, and I
don’t have a test or anything to prepare for next
week. How about yourself, Hana? ❞
