Rival Silver

“Oh? Strange. Who begs to hang out with someone they pity? I can’t imagine desiring to pal around with someone I look down on, like you for example.” 

He just motioned for his Gengar to shift from his shadow to the strangers. They’d feel the heat start to drain from their body and feel that they were being pinned in place of some force. Gloved hands going over and slowly caressing their face before putting two fingers over their eyelids.

“You tried to upset me, but all you managed to do was waste my time. I think harvesting parts of you can make up for the time lost I’ll never get back? Don’t you agree?” With a snap of his fingers, his Gengar would slowly drag the stranger into their own shadow before shooting them out into the nearest lake.

There’s movement on the other side of the door, and when it opens up, silver meets brown, and she gives him a warm smile. “Hey Silver, long time no see right?" 

Before he can say anything, she holds up a gold gift bag. Inside it is a luxary ball with an absol inside. "Happy Birthday Silver!”

He wouldn’t let with Lyra or Gold know that due to them consistently choosing to celebrate his birthday, it actually made his heart warm. So naturally at first he was disgusted that  they could get such a weakness from him, yet he also enjoyed the feeling of being thought of and enjoyed for simply existing.  Every year they did they, they actually provided him something every year that he doubt they understood.

Their kindness to him was like salve to his soul, healing his rugged heart with every small gesture of acceptance. The fact they choose to keep doing this, after he told them they were under no obligation or expectation, reinforced his bond with them even if he hated to admit. He wasn’t cheap, he couldn’t bought so easily, yet he’d be lying if he said he felt nothing toward their gesture.

              “Thank you for the gift. It has been awhile, but I’m sure we’ll be playing catch up today with Gold.” 

He knew by now that wasn’t all that was in store for him when it came to those two. He called out the gift pokemon, seeing it was an Absol with a beautiful white coat and sharp red eyes. The blade like horn on it’s head catching his eye and making him smile in approval.

History: Originally a starter set aside by Prof. Elm for beginning trainers, he was kidnapped by Silver. At first he was treated as a tool for battle and not much more, not even having a nickname to show any kind of affection his trainer had for him. This would change and would eventually lead up to him receiving his nickname- Susanoo. Loyal to Silver even to the point his trainer was shocked he didn’t want to be returned to Prof. Elm, he happily battles for him. He now aims to crush many strong foes in battle while trying to teach Silver how to bust a move and (dragon) dance!

Accomplishments: Indigo Hall of Fame. Pokéathlon  Star.  

…did this pineapple headed Unovan tourist really believe he’d accept money like this knowing he was law enforcement? While we wasn’t sure if he really was Interpol, G-men or some mediocre detective with connections, Silver did know how to avoid incriminating situations with undercover cops.

                        “This is so shady at this point I can’t help but point out how cliche’ it is. Throwing money around while talking ambiguously like that isn’t the image of a law enforcement agent who keeps his nose clean. If you wanted me to teach you some of my techniques you’ll need more than just a few wads of cash to convince me. Unlike most you come across, I’m not easily bought.”

   Plus this guy had no idea how little faith and trust he had in this not being a sting operation of sorts. The red headed tapped his foot and looked at the tourist with an expectant look.

                         “If all I wanted was money we wouldn’t be here talking since I’d be working. You can’t give me tech so what else do you have to bring to the table, Tourist-chan?”
