So, I didn’t play Bloodborne yet, nor have I seen any walkthroughs. I’ve barely seen some item descriptions. When the game was first announced, I thought this would be a Victorian-London-Van-Helsing-Dark Souls mix, with vampires and werewolves. From the little I could gather, it actually looks like a lovecraftian-horror Dark Souls mix, which is much more awesome than the original van-helsing vibe. So my question is (no spoilers please): is the game about werewolves and beasts and farmers with pitchforks, or about cosmic horrors from unknowable dimensions with incomprehensible geomtry? Or both?

I’d like to apologize to all my followers for not posting much art in the recent months. I’m still aware that I have promised some specific drawings which have not been presented yet. I swear that those will surface, sooner or latter. I’m currently focused on the fan art contest of Demon’s Souls and I couldn't have a better reason to draw more actively again. Thanks for following me and having patience! I deeply appreciate the attention of you all.

nigelmack had a pretty cool idea to promote Demon’s Souls in the days leading up to Bloodborne’s release this month. After some discussions with bloodborne, we decided on a Demon’s Souls-centric fanart contest with some pretty sweet prizes up for bat! The first place winner gets their choice between a copy of Bloodborne for PS4 supplied by bloodborne (huehuehue), Dark Souls 1 & 2 together for PC, or the Dark Souls II Season Pass for PC supplied by myself.

So, how can you win? Draw out something particularly memorable or striking from a Demon’s Souls playthrough; an especially tense boss, a satisfying (or crushing) round of multiplayer, or an NPC you maybe fell in love with. Remember to try and be creative; if someone else were to submit a similar idea in their fanart to your own, how would you make sure your piece stands out?

And if you’ve never played Demon’s Souls (or if it’s been a while and you could do with a refresher), now would be a perfect time to do so!

Work in progress for my submission to bloodborne and lordranandbeyond‘s fan art contest. The final image is actually 19200x10800 pixels, so everyone will get a ridiculously large Penetrator wallpaper. Around 12 hours and 45 minutes to draw this. And damn, it was worth every second. More details will be added.
