"Okay, sure. Let's talk about it." He thought about swearing Jace to secrecy, but decided against it. He was hoping that he could get a chance to explain all of this to Magnus at some point, and hopefully make things right between them again.

“Yeah,” he said, setting aside his food and getting to his feet. “Yeah, that’s probably a good idea.” Fortunately, his room was tidy- almost meticulously so. Everything had its place, and unless he needed it urgently, it always remained in that place.

“you can tell me what you want, alec,” he offers. “if theres something you want to do or try….” he trails off, leaving it open for alec to pick up the sentence. he wants this to always be a good experience for alec, wants the other to feel comfortable and safe.

"I want pretty much the same as what I had the other night, if that's okay." It was a tendency he'd always had, asking for the same thing. At restaurants, he'd always default to a couple of dishes, and at bars he'd always order the same drinks. He could switch it up from time to time, but it always took careful consideration. Clearly, the same was true in the bedroom.

This is merely the beginning of a long string of bad times and unfortunate events, as the Lightwood orphans are sent from place to place, from obscure relative to obscure relative. And all the way, Count Valentine, and his insidious schemes, are never far behind.

magnus can’t help but steal another kiss against alec’s chest, and a few trailing down his abs as well. “i could kiss every inch of you and be happy,” he claims before kissing alec on the lips again.

Alec couldn't help blushing again, both at Magnus's kisses, and the words that accompanied them. There was no easy way to say it- Magnus was way better at this than he was. At least, he was way better at knowing what to say. Alec, on the other hand, could barely say anything right now. He wanted to, but he just couldn't.

magnus’ hands rest on alec’s hips as they kiss and slowly move upwards, pushing up the fabric of his shirt in the process. giving a little nip at alec’s bottom lip, he pulls away. “let me pull your shirt off,” he says gently.

"Alright," he muttered, lifting his arms up in order to make it a bit easier to get his shirt off. He felt a little less awkward about this than he had the last time, which he supposed was only natural. It would probably feel less awkward the more they did this sort of thing.
