Ripper looked over at her and his eyes saddened. All of this that had happened while he had been away? Leaving her to die? What sort of man had he been? Though, he had always been the type to simply leave his companions for dead.
He looked towards the machine and back at her. “I suppose there is a simple way out of this. And I seem the man who is selfish enough to do it for you, hmm?”He said as he moved over to sit at the head of the bed, near the machine.
AC couldn’t respond but she knew what the answer was, yes. The children were not near the room. She squeezed her hand regardless as if to say yes, it was cruel but it was their only way out of the mess. AC needed her Valeyard to save her again just as he had before.
Ripper felt the grip and he reached down to place a kiss on her hand. “Alright, love. I’ll hope that it is not excrutionately painful.” He said, his eyes soft. He turned away and moved to press his hand up against the box. He took a deep breath and slowly pressed the button in with his thumb, releasing the fluids and cutting off the life support.
Closing his eyes and looking down towards the floor, he turned and backed away, leaving her to do as was in their biology to finish.
Her body began to shut down on its own before its own reboot began, her body exploded with golden energy. She wasn’t much taller in form but after the Regeneration energy cleared, she was breathing hard momentarily. ”I really hate doing that.” she muttered as she looked around. “Vale?”
The Ripper stopped and turned back towards her. He instantly moved over and rested his hands on her face, feeling her facial structures. Ripper met AC's eyes and checked her pulse, then nodded at her. "You seem rather well. Nothing too traumatizing, I hope?"
