like it’s sort of like. well it’s like. it’s like, you have this partner and you love her, and they take her away and give you this other guy, and you don’t love him but he tells you that you’re right about something. and then they take him away too, because he wasn’t actually there to begin with, and then you have no one. and you’ve lost your belief. and then she comes back with a chip in her neck, and when you finally try to kiss her something happens and they take her away again. and you get your belief back. and so much stuff circles back to the day she and he got taken away from you, and the fact that they gave her back but not him, and every time you see him you follow him just like you follow her, because somewhere in your head you remember. and they show you too much stuff, and you’ve almost lost your belief again. you get him when she’s not there. and he tells you that you’re right about something. and you can kiss him when you couldn’t kiss her, before they take him away again. and there is love there, actually. and you get your belief back. and she comes in and then he’s gone. and she asks you, mulder, what are you thinking about. and you tell her, inextricable relationships.

scully and krycek are like mulder’s little shoulder angel and demon to me i can’t explain it. just whispering in his ear giving him conflicting advice
