Lunar

I’ll go in order of who’s seen first.

So starting with these three, from left to right, are Rachel, Gary, and Bonnie. Rachel and Gary come from an underground city, and Bonnie is a vampire who’s a few hundred years old at this point, though she was bitten younger in her life.

Bonnie hangs out in a run down castle, Gary tends to go to said castle to escape his life back in town, and Rachel likes to follow Gary everywhere. So they’re all friends, to an extent!

This guy’s name is Holly. He should be holding a microphone in this shot but I haven’t gotten around to drawing it yet. That’s why his hand is like that.

He’s not a human. It’s sort of hard to describe him, alongside the others that look like him, because they aren’t human, nor are they aliens or anything of the sort. Well, not extraterrestrials, at least. I just call them mimes (even though they really aren’t). He among the others is a personification of color. He is aqua. All of his friends are different colors, too. Though there’s only about 15 of them in my story, theoretically there would be as many of these guys as there are colors that exist.

Anyways, he’s a sneaky, rather flamboyant sob who nobody can ever pin down whether he is good or bad. In the video’s case, bad. The reason Rachel, Gary, and Bonnie do not immediately kick into fight or flight is because they don’t know Holly to be bad up until this point.

He and all of the other colors have their own monster form as well, and this is his. They are usually based off of insects, clowns, jesters, mannequins, etc. He is the smallest of the monsters, measuring probably somewhere around 7 feet tall.

These are a bunch, but not all, of his friends. In order from left to right is Uppsulka, Rede, TyV, Twiddle Niddle, Caela, and Atrox.

Uppsulka is usually stoic and calm, but she can be a little quirky and sassy sometimes too. Her smile on her monster form is deceiving; Usually she’s pretty blank-faced: 

She’s also a prime example of something that the mimes can do, which is taking over a dead body as a host to appear more human. Every mime has their bug-like stick limbs and their tube torsos, but some choose to take on a host to fit in a little more.

Rede is a crotchety, extremely near-sighted punk who really doesn’t like people very much. On the inside he’s pretty smart and logical, but on the outside he tends to talk like a middle school bully.

He is essentially blind, and can only really see things an inch or two from his face. Because of this, he’s almost always seen squinting.

TyV is a silly, literature-hungry dork who likes spending a majority of his time reading every book he comes across. He uses a lot of big and fancy words, but never really pronounces any of them right.

When he manifested as a physical being, one of the very first things he did was accidentally get a TV stuck over his head while trying to gut it from the inside out. He sort of just lives with it, and uses the screen to express his emotions for him.

Twiddle Niddle is essentially what you could consider an old cartoon villain-- the kind that’s always seen twiddling their mustache, tying someone to a railroad, or holding a big black bomb-- that kind of guy.

He’s kind of an asshole, but he uses funny words and phrases nobody can understand so oftentimes he’s seen as the useless clown of the group because nobody can take him seriously.

Caela is a peppy and rather manic gal who’s like, totally into drills or whatever. She’s pretty obsessed with human culture, and actively tries to engage in normal human activities, even if she doesn’t understand them.

She’s rather self-centered, and often times puts herself before others, even her closest friends. 

Atrox is a very fickle, very dramatic guy who often finds himself-- or rather makes himself-- a “gallant in distress” in many situations. He’s extremely picky about his preferences, and never uses his monster form. None of his friends know why, nor does he ever shed any light on the matter.

There’s others, of course, but nobody else that’s prominent in the video.
