Do you come here OFFten?

Hi everyone! It’s been a very long time since I’ve been on here due to forgetting the password a while back and just being to lazy to make a new one. But now here I am! A lil bit of history of this page if you’ve never really known me or this is the first time your seeing my page.

I made this tumblr back in 2016, I was around 17 at the time and in my sophomore year of highschool. I had been following the OFF tag because it was one of my favorite games at the time and it still is. Up to this point I had never really done digital art nor had I ever thought about making a character ask blog because I was just to shy. But then I found hoonts, @necessarymerchant, blog.I loved there art and the way they where able to create this awesome backstory for one of my favorite characters, zacharie. I loved the way they wrote the character having fun interactions with other people’s OCs and for some reason this drove me to create my own just so I could have the chance to at lest have a cute little interaction with them. And so I made Hayley, a very much self inspired character at the time who loved to garden, drink tea, and chat with friends. It was supposed to be just a one off interaction but to my surprise Hoonts got back to me with a lovly drawing and a chance to respond, needless to say I did and decided “what the heck, I’ve always wanted to make an ask blog anyway.” And so did. My digital art skills where shitty back then compared to today but I won’t knock myself down to hard I was only just starting, but I to my surprise I made a lot of friends while working on this blog. And It had only just occurred to me this year, with all this chaos happening and having to stay in doors a LOT, that I really missed them all.

So I’m making this a shout out post to see all my friends and to sponsor there pages as well because they are all some amazing, talented, funny, and all around wonderful people who deserve to be showcased.

@sixford (such a cute batch of characters and a wonderful storyline of a radio host just trying to bring his friend back from the dead.)

@zone-2-bookworm (the embodiment of chaotically fun, and a super sweet person to boot!)

@golden-fork (was super chill and really sweet, every time I was having a bad day I loved to look at there art and feel better.)

@blunky (I’ve never really interacted much with them before but they have some rad art and even rader animation skills.)

@zone1alma (super funny and awesome character interaction I’ve read, plus there character is super cute.)

@sillyoffmerchant (I love there art and the way they draw Zach is so cartoony and awesome it make me smile every time.)

@off-kill-ter (they aren’t as active nowadays but there blog is so wholesome)

@asktheoffqueen-blog1 (also haven’t interacted with them much but I was fun to hear from the queen herself from time to time.)

@ask-thebatter-and-theplayer-blog (also has some amazing art you should totally check out.)

@elsen-and-cat (their art is so cute and adorable, I love there character and also all around wholesome.)

@ask-off-babs (their art has only gotten better over the years and they are pretty funny to boot!)

@s-ean (there art is twistedly cute and you should def check them out)

@brainplaguerewind (some of the best off art I’ve seen, I’m always so jelly of there creativity and line work skills.)

@cryogenic-heat (same goes for this awesome person I’m so jelly of there awesome art skills.)

@thecaptainofcrispy (not really an art blog but was so much fun to interact with, they where super funny and chaotic, loved them.)

@tulips-n-roses (I’ve only just started following them but there art is awesome and there character interaction is so much fun!)

And finally @necessarymerchant and @thejudge, these two are truly the inspiration behind this blog. Hoonts art and love of the fandom has kept me so inspired for this blog and I can’t thank them enough for being my friend. And for the late Felix Mullins I thank you for showcasing the amazing art that lead me to knowing all of these wonderful people as well as creating the amazing spin off game “HOME” which everyone should have the chance of playing. Where ever you are I pray you are at peace and looking down on us with joy.

And to the creator of OFF itself @mortisghost thank you for creating this wonderful game that we all could enjoy and love. Your community thanks you for your creativity and wonderful story telling that has lead us all to meeting each other and just have having a great time together. From the bottom of my heart thank you.
