Very good points. Really enjoyed the whole SMART goals.

Goals should be:

Fifi has been sick for a couple of days. Not that it affects her appetite or well-being (thank God), but it’s more of a skin problem. It started a couple of weeks ago with a teensy spot on her eyelid.

Little did we know it’d wreak havoc on my poor baby.

First, I brought her to a vet tech that was super near to my place. I thought, “hey, no need to use the car = less stress for Fifi.” Boy, was I wrong. She may not have been stressed out on a car ride but she did get stressed out by taking medicines for the wrong diagnosis.

Second, I now spent more when I could have spent less money and energy if I brought her to this more tried and tested vet tech. They specialize in cat care. It’s a bit far from here so I wasn’t too keen on visiting.

But the results we’re marvelous. They took tests and immediately discovered she had a fungal infection (yikes). Last time, I was given a suspected diagnosis and an Rx for her to take but that didn’t improve her at all. They’re more meticulous about her symptoms and treatment here. As a furmum, I’m satisfied.

Welp. Here’s hoping for Fifi’s swift recovery. Quality above convenience.

So, at the (probably) most stressful stage of my adult life, I found myself yearning for simpler times. Today, it’s 2am where I am, and I am mind-numbingly stressing out for what the daylight will bring.

Picture me, an overly anxious law student, rotting on my bed while my brain runs through the tasks I have for today. Nothing much — really. It’s literally ONE class and taking my kitten to the vet.

Nonetheless, I find myself frozen. I can’t sleep, though I’m obviously tired but I know I have to since I have to wake up at 4am to study. Like the brilliant idiot that I am, I’ve decided to come back to Tumblr instead of ACTUALLY doing my tasks. I’ve missed writing. Hell, I don’t even remember my old tumblr account.

Nonetheless, the void calls me and I have answered.
