Shout-out to self shippers with "scary" disorders, and I'm talking about the really stigmatized ones. Shout-out to self shippers with "bad" and "scary" symptoms. Shout-out to self shippers who are trying to be good and still do bad things because of their disorder.

Shout-out to schizospec self shippers, shout-out to system self shippers, shout-out to cluster b self shippers, shout-out to low empathy self shippers and shout-out to everyone else who not only has to deal with their mental health issues but also the fact that nobody else understands. And to those who are deemed crazy or evil.

Your f/o loves you, actually, and despite how many times you fall into tendencies that are "too much" for anyone else; they will always love you. No matter how many people call you evil, they will still love you and they will know there's a part of you that wants to be good.

And you know what? If there's no part of you that wants to be good and you're still doing your best to remain kind despite your nature, I see you, and your f/o does too. And they still love you, they always will.

Hear me out. Your f/o gets shrinked down to plush size. And you can just carry them around wherever you want. You guys can go to Target and they can ride in the cart. You can dress them up in doll clothes. Imagine the possibilities. All the adventures.

Fear not - here are some alternatives to kisses!

General/Nonverbal

- Leaning their forehead against yours as they gently hold the back of your head

- Leaning each cheek against yours, left, right, repeatedly for more kisses

- Tracing a symbol over your forehead with their thumb, perhaps replacing it with a heart when they know what it means to you

- Slow blinking at you, or blinking twice at you. Or flashing a small light at you.

- Booping your nose three times

Humanoid or Animal Features

- Tickling your face with their hair, fur, beard or eyelashes

- Gently nudging the tip of their nose against your forehead, nose and lips, in that order

- Rubbing their nose or cheek against yours, slowly for a deep, passionate kiss, quickly for lots and lots of kisses

- Repeating a sound pattern whenever they want to say “I love you” (clicking, humming…)

- Wrapping their wings or tail around you

Robots, Entities, F/Os without faces

- Remembering that human kisses make a sound, so they hold their face up to yours and make a soft clicking/popping noise in an attempt to recreate it

- Blowing out hearts. Smoke hearts. Fog hearts. Bubble hearts. Shockwave hearts. You name it. Also writing hearts in the earth, sky, water or fire for you.

- Painting lips onto their face and letting you kiss them

- Giving you a teeny tiny electric zap

the two of you had an idea and you decided you were going to do it. it’s the two of you, a park, and some paper. your journals are ready to be filled with whatever you can find. you take photos together, pick flowers, and put it all in each other’s journals. the flowers, photographs, and receipts from your bags. you decorate the pages with pens and colors and adorable notes.

at the end of it, you’re left with a collage of each other. on the way home, they give you more flowers. not for your journal — but for beside your bed. you look back at the pages they filled, and you notice a photo of yourself with a note next to it.
