Icarus:

Icarus was a natural spawn in blackrock. Because of this he was never close to any inphernals, never having anyone he could truly call a friend, no one to truly listen to him. That was until he was assigned to work with none other than the great Firey Sun himself. Him and Sun were business partners (that kissed sometimes). They both contributed so much to blackrock, from Icarus’ medical machinery that “fixed the broken” to Sun’s work in providing energy for many blackrock areas. Sun was already an influential figure in blackrock but Icarus seemed to rise in popularity, almost eclipsing him. Because of this an INCIDENT occurred. Not much was known about said incident due to Sun being able to bribe his way into keeping it secret but Icarus knows. He could still feel how his skin felt like it was burning and melting, how much pain he was in as he tried to scream for help only for his vocal cords to burn up as well. It’s a miracle Icarus wasn’t dead, to the point sun made it so he was considered dead to the public. Icarus after experiencing all of it was tired. Tired of the pain, tired of Sun, tired of just being forgotten so easily. Who cares about him now. Who will care if he left and never returned. Who cares.

Icarus made the decision to “fly” away from blackrock with what little of his wings he has left. He didn’t expect to return alive, or be alive at all.

And yet

The wings happened to work enough for him to crash into a little cabin far north of the labs where a little rebellion group decided to take him in
