Okay, so my life’s been super dull so this post is pretty short.

For the past few days all I’ve done is play Red Dead Redemption 2, watch Youtube, or walk while watching a movie. It’s fun—I’m not complaining, but it is incredibly boring. I can’t help but want something more out of my summer, I feel like I’m wasting it even though there’s not much of anything I can do about it.

Not every day has been like that though, thankfully.

I think it was about a week ago that I went out with one of my friends to the mall. She’s really shy but she’s great company, I love how quiet she is. Plus, we both dressed up super cute so we got tons of compliments at the mall! That was really nice. She’s a great shopping companion, too. She didn’t mind that I went into nearly all of the stores at the mall and ended up only buying one thing. It was also my first time hanging out with her alone, I’d do it again. It was really fun. This is what I bought.

It’s a tiny John Galt pouch, I bought it for the new school year so that I’d have something cute to carry toiletries in.

When I got home I told her that I had lots of fun and asked to hang out with her again soon. She told me that she had a pool and she invited me over, but I asked if she could invite some of her friends because I felt like those types of hangouts are better with more people. She asked me if I was alright with not knowing any of them and I said it was fine. When I got there, I ended up knowing all of them! Funny how things work out. We all had a nice time and even though I felt like I didn’t interact with everyone as much, I still felt like I grew closer with them.

So, summer hasn’t been all bad.
