From the raw, wild and honest nature of Patagonia- where I woke up to a view of the Andes mountains and fell asleep under extraordinary astronomy- to seeing Santiagos massive street art and experiencing the their local nightclubs and then feeling Chiles relentless burning sun in the unbelievable Atacama desert landscape in the north. Moved through the secretive and lonely, unique nature of southern Bolivia, a beauty that can hardly be described in words nor in photographs, a sight that took my breath away. Struggling to learn Spanish while feeling La Paz's culture and its killing altitude until moving on to Peru's wild jungle and the Inca's infamous Machu Picchu, finally finding rest on the beaches of Lima. Conquering Pablo Eacobar's Medellin before walking the colorful streets and welcoming vibe of Cartagena. Colombia showed me euphoric beaches, diving and a rheartbreaking history lying right underneath the huge party scene. We've travelled over 10.000 kilometers, some by bus, some by plane and some by the mercy of strangers picking us up. God bless all the amazing people I've come across. My deepest gratitude for Veronica and for our friendship that has grown stronger that I could ever imagine. We've been hungry, cold, happy, sad, hot, sunburned, drunk, thirsty, shocked, amazed, we've laughed and cried, we've been in countless fucked up situations but we somehow always manage to get through. We've got the best out of every situation because all in all we're just beautiful and complicated streetkids that can survive anywhere as long as we are together and as long as we can share a cigarette to Latin America's dirty reggaeton rhythm . I've been away for 2.5 months but I feel like I've lived a decade. I could stay forever but the northern wind is calling me back now- because home changed from the world to being next to a certain heartbeat. South America.. you've been a soul shaking adventure and I'll be back.
