I used S4Studio to rename all the worlds, and I've decorated all the neighbourhoods with T.O.O.L. As I said before, Silent Pines is completely base-game friendly, absolutely no packs or kits are used.
There is some custom CC, mainly posters that add to the story. The CC is one package file and adds nothing other than some customisation to the story. It is not required.
For example the missing poster of Cleo Emerson, a girl who disappeared under mysterious circumstances;
DISCLAIMER: Only Silent Pines (Willow Creek) has the mystery to solve; the other 2 worlds are just for playing in. Also, the 'Harris' household has been notoriously difficult to load into, for which I apologise. If you'd like to explore their house, please bring a sim to visit them <3

After getting your awesome suggestions, I realised I haven't remade Copperdale, and it's one of my favourite worlds ever. So I thought I'd do a poll with Copperdale vs the winner of the last poll, the San Myshuno rebuild (which is winning at ~40% of the vote)

Featuring a high school build inspired by Blackwell Academy from Life is Strange. The vibes would be early 2000s PNW, lots of trees and open space, and PNW-inspired homes. Definitely a small town. And the packs would be Base Game + High School Years only, which would be a fun challenge.

2. Limited Pack Save File
This world would be inspired by small-town America and set in the 90s or early 2000s. Inspirations are Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls and pure nostalgia (though I'm not American even a little bit lol). I say 'limited pack' but to be honest I have planned a LOT of expansion packs for this, just no kits and very limited game packs. This would be less accessible than my Silent Pines save, just because of how many packs I'd be using.
Packs Included: City Living, University, Get Together, Get to Work, High School Years, Businesses & Hobbies, Dine Out, Laundry Day, Vampires, + a few more I can't remember (~14 total).

3. CC Save File
I call this a 'CC save' but really I would only be using 1 bit of CC, the 'Newcrest and Willow Creek Emptied' mod by awingedllama. My goal would be to turn Newcrest or Willow Creek into a city inspired by Boston, one of my favourite American cities. Everything else would be from packs in the game, which I could limit to only expansion packs + game packs and no kits/stuff packs. This would be way more detailed than my other saves, just because of the freedom to completely remake the world. Again, not as accessible to players who don't use CC, like console players.
Packs Included: To be determined, but can be as little or as many as you guys decide.

Maybe I'm dumb and should just play the save to solve the mystery myself, but the case file just feels so unfinished… there's a single glaring hole in it for me, and it's the fact Forrest going missing is just completely glossed over. There's not even a picture for him in the case file or anything, tbh feels like he's the bigger mystery here than Cleo? Am I right about that or just thinking too hard? Lol
Hi! Thanks for the ask, that's really fair criticism. When I first made Silent Pines and the case file, I intended the mystery to be a small thing, as I really just wanted to build a base game save file with background lore. Since the Sims 4 base game is also pretty limited, I was limited with what I could do, but I tried to be as creative as I could in the game! As for Forest and Luca (mentioned in a household bio), those were 2 mysteries I had planned to delve further into, but since it had been 2 years since V1, I decided to just focus on building and getting what I promised out, if that makes sense?
I would recommend playing the save for the mystery, that's most of the fun lmao. The case file was really just to have all the photos and family connections in order in 1 place, plus the full intended story at the end, as like an answer sheet for when you've found all the clues in the save :)
If I ever make another save with a mystery, I definitely want to get more creative and put in more effort with everything that I've learned.

Playtesting @cosmoosims's upcoming Silent Pines V2 save file which includes the beautiful pixel towns of Silent Pines, Eclipse, and Twilight Bay. I'm starting out a bit of rotational gameplay with a household with some simmering tea.

Hi guys, as I'm finalising everything for Silent Pines V2, I'd like to make sure the save runs for other people, as well. EA recently got rid of the James Turner way of disabling packs, which was how I made my game base game only, and now I'm using the in-game pack disabler. I have no clue if that's affecting the save, so I'd love for some people to test it out for me and see if there's anything weird going on!

Hi everyone, I'm back :) After almost 2 years, I've come back to Simblr to say I've finally completed Silent Pines V2. It's all ready to ship, I'm just waiting to update my game. Hearing everyone's mods and CC broke is kind of scaring me. (Also, this whack Marketplace is actually nightmare fuel).
I'm really sorry for the years spent away. I was knee-deep in my final year of university, and then I entered a master's programme that took all of my mental health with it. But now I'm done, just heading into the research for the summer, and through it all, I've been steadily building every single lot for Newcrest (Twilight Bay) and Oasis Springs (Eclipse)

I've heard the reports that the Harris household is crashing games, and I'm trying my best to find a fix for that. I think it must be the house itself, so I've uploaded a game items-only version on the gallery (aka without any custom items from the gallery) and an empty version as well. For now, let me know if that works!

After a long time coming, the update is here! This update includes;
NEW LOT: The Silent Pines Police Station
This replaces the old Post Office located beside the Gym
It includes Sheriff Pangborn's office, with a Suspect Board full of clues and a suggested search route.

got the chance to playtest the incredible @silentpinessave and i am in LOVE! there's so much life in this save and it's SO nostalgic, the decor and the vibe is so clear and cohesive from lot to lot, and there are so many little details sprinkled in each lot that you can really dig into the stories; it really reminds me of the sims 3 (a high compliment bc that's my favorite of the sims series!!)
