One day you will learn that vulnerability was never something to be afraid of. Because when you’re with the right person, you will see that vulnerability is giving the best and worst parts of yourself to another. It is to be the rawest version of yourself with another. And love is realizing that’s all they want you to be. Love is realizing home comes with a heartbeat.

Vulnerability establishes the base for a relationship. Because it’s easy to be accepted for all the good parts, parts that you strengthened with time and effort. But being accepted when you’re mentally naked is to be accepted for your flaws, insecurities and all the other parts that you chose to hide from the world. To love someone like that helps to achieve true intimacy, laying down a foundation for growth and understanding. But more importantly, you experience that there is nothing more beautiful than loving someone as a whole, loving someone simply for who they are.

Thank you for walking away,  and for breaking my heart.  Because I needed the pain to grow,  and the healing to remake me whole

One day you will find someone who will kiss your forehead when your eyes fill up, whispering that things will be okay with time. Someone who is bold enough to kiss you in a museum filled with strangers, simply because it felt right. Someone who will gently squeeze your hand in a church corridor, because they are grateful to have you in their life. Someone whose laughter, tears, and kisses will fill you in a way you've never felt before. Someone in whose arms your heartbeat slows, and you feel at home.

One day the world will turn its back on you and you will learn to do the same. Because if you are willing to fight with new beliefs, a tragic end will serve as a new beginning. A beacon of hope you can use to rebuilt yourself, not back to the person of your past, but a stronger version of yourself that it made you. And soon, you will see that the tide wasn't meant to break you, but to simply remake you.

Lying on a deathbed, her final words to him were to always remember her as the setting sun. As during the sunset, the sun keeps changing in multitudes of colors to finally rest on a pitch black. And that's simply how he loved her. For all the colors that made her whole, but more than that, for the person she forged in her darkest hours.

It takes courage to love someone with every piece of your heart, to make that leap of faith having no idea what's going to happen. It holds the power to built a relationship filled with joy and trust, to be happy in a way you never experienced before. But it also holds the power to break your heart, to lose someone you believed would last forever. And either way, I think that's beautiful. Because in the long run, you'll come to realize that falling in love and falling apart, is always better than not falling at all.
