Simply by virtue of stature alone, Singed tended to loom over most--it was a trait he used to his advantage wherever possible, with appreciable results almost every time. The chemist had it down to a practical science at this point, carefully scrutinizing and capitalizing upon whatever weaknesses he could find in people. It was so easy to unsettle others, particularly when his reputation preceded him, and it usually didnāt take much more from there to overwhelm. The being before him now, however, was clearly not one who would bow under such simple intimidation tactics.
āAh.ā He straightens up, cocking his head slightly at Xerath--thereās plenty of questions springing to mind, but he doubts now is an excellent time to try picking apart his guest. āI must admit, youāre not my usual customer. But I get the feeling you arenāt in search of the usual, either--thereās plenty of hacks in Zaun you would have visited first otherwise.ā
