She was worth it. I was so scared to post this photo at first of my postpartum body. Before I was pregnant I was 130lbs and I thought that I needed to lose more. During pregnancy I gained 50lbs, I figured afterwards it'd all vanish and I would be my 130lbs self again. I was WRONG. I was 183lbs before I had Vaida, I now am at a 160 or more, I wasn't losing the weight like everyone else I knew had.. I was SO upset. After days, maybe even weeks of not wanting to acknowledge my postpartum body I finally took a better look at myself.. I learned that despite the fact that I didn't snap back, despite that I can't fit in ANY of my tiny clothes anymore, despite all of the negative.. My body gave me my beautiful daughter and for that the love I have for my body NOW is endless. My body made a living human being, and produces milk to nourish her through her first year. That's more beautiful then bony hips and a crop top... That's life. Vaida Elizabeth, Mommy loves you!
