Sighing In Unison

Secluded in this fish tank. Knocking on the glass. Hoping someone can get me out. Drowning from internal conflicts now.

I think there’s something wrong with me. Questioning everything as I grind my teeth. So much clutter fogs the lens. Reassurance is something I need.

I’ve become paranoid. I already know the outcome. It’ll break all of my self discipline. Infecting the state of my mental condition.

My thoughts are turning irrational. Another night where I end up rattled.

This shouldn’t feel like torture. Should I have never opened that door?

Lay inside my head. I want to be around someone. But I don’t want to say anything. No talking, no words, just relaxation.

A chalk outline on my sheet. I drug myself to sleep to only to wake up and repeat.

I don’t know how to change this cycle. And I get frustrated that I can’t win this battle.

Girls try to possess me but it doesn’t make me happy. They can’t put themselves in a box so empty.

Every hand on my face doesn’t fall passed the skin. Because I refuse to let their kindness in.

They won’t break the mold. Because I just became so damn cold.
