It’s so sad to think that social media has taken over some other people’s mind. In here, you see a lot of people doing and looking so great in their photos. You see what they want you to see. You get to like their photos and there’s definitely a validation from others. People get so blinded that they don’t see what’s behind that. But when they get to know that person they admire so much in social media, and then they see a lot of negative things about ‘em, they’ll just hate them and unfollow or better yet block them. Isn’t it too shallow? It’s a platform where we want people to think that our life is going great. They think you’re perfect.
It’s like in relationships...when at first you thought that everything’s gonna be great. You thought they’re perfect for you. You thought they’re beautiful with no flaws. But when problems arise, and you’ll see the real them, you’ll stop supporting and loving them. Hence, you’ll find something else to admire, someone new and you think is better.
IT’S. JUST. TOO. SHALLOW.
