- Well he’s not exactly scared of you, just a little intimidated. He worries that, since you’re so cool, he won’t measure up. Just reassure him that yes, he is in fact super cool, and even if he wasn’t, you’d still love him.

- Well, you’re never leaving his arms again. It’s poems and stardust for you, Roman’s got everything the world has to offer and he demands to share it with you. The smallest little sad face will push him into romance mode, and it’s hard to feel unloved when you’re surrounded by roses and have the world’s most handsome prince kissing your hand.

Logan:

- He schedules out plenty of dates and outings, all weeks in advance, and puts them on a calendar in a place where you can’t have a day without seeing it.

- “It serves as a reminder. It will help keep the knowledge that you’re loved front-and-center in your mind, and even if you feel alone, you can just look to the next day and know you have a good time with me to look forward to.”

Patton:

- “Ah! Oh no! Please don’t be sad! Would a hug help? Do you want a cookie? Or a blanket? We can have a slumber party! I’ll make popcorn. Stay the night! We can make a pillow fort and sleep in it together! Listen to me kiddo, I promise it’ll all feel a lot better after a nice nap and come cocoa.”

- Basically he combats sad thoughts with aggressive displays of affection.

Virgil:

- “Wanna...like...not leave the room for a while?”

- He’s good for you, and honestly you’re really good for him. He’s scared of people not wanting him around, he’s scared he’ll smother you, so having you react so positively to his attention makes him very happy. It gives him just enough of a confidence boost to initiate sometimes, so expect lots of sweet random hugs.

Deceit:

- He doesn’t outright say it, but it’s pretty obvious that he loves when you get clingy. You’re permanently invited to hang off his arm in public, and when you’re alone he’s almost always got at least one of his arms around you. Hand-holding is commonplace between you two, as well as gentle snakey kisses on the cheek followed by whispered little compliments.

Remus:

- Good luck feeling lonely when you’re dating this guy. You’re pretty much always together, and if he’s not physically clinging to you he’s screaming your praises from the top of his lungs.

- He’s got abandonment issues too. So on bad days when things are all just feeling awful, he’s there to listen and cry it out with you.

Roman:

- Doting boyfriend 100%. He isn’t much more protective than normal, but he’s pretty much waiting on you hand and foot through the whole process. No, you absolutely may not do that by yourself, and don’t you dare try to lift anything even remotely heavy, The Honorable Prince Roman is here helping you for a reason!

- He also uses it as an excuse to carry you around bridal-style as much as possible. Doesn’t matter if you’re the punkest, most muscular badass ever, or the tiniest little flower child to ever exist. You cannot escape the inevitable, and the inevitable is you getting scooped up like a giant cabbage patch doll by your boyfriend.

Logan:

- He starts stocking up on helpful gadgets the moment your gaze lingers on the pregnancy tests in the pharmacy. Heated blankets? Books on every possible subject you might need? Comfort objects for you to cling to during bad mood swings? Memory foam bodypillows molded to your body type and comfort preferences? Check to everything. All hypoallergenic, of course, what kind of fool do you take him for?

- He reads to you, and to your belly on occasion. Sometimes it’s kid’s stories, or parenting books, but other times it’s university level psychology or astronomy textbooks. He usually likes it best when you’re alert and invested, but if you’re tired or having trouble getting to sleep he’ll switch his voice to a perfect monotone that lulls you right to sleep.

Patton:

- The most excited out of all of them. He loves kids, he loves you, and he loves being able to help people. Now you’re giving him the opportunity to do all that at once and it’s just giving him so many feelings. You’re going to have one very cuddly, affectionate, bubbly boyfriend taking care of you. If you had any doubts about wether or not you’ll be good parents, just a couple minutes with Patton and you’ll know for sure the two of you will do great.

- Even when the mood swings hit he stands strong. If you’re sad he’s there with hugs and feel good movies to happy-cry with you to. If you’re mad he’s actually really good at conflict deescalation, and when he’s done you won’t even remember why you were upset in the first place.

Virgil:

- Well obviously anxious boy here is anxious. He double-triple checks everything. The house is baby-proof 3 months into the pregnancy. The fridge is stocked, the blankets and pillows all piled on the bed, your phone has him on speed-dial, and when he’s finally satisfied with his work, he’ll pass out next to you with his arms wrapped around your middle, right under the bump.

- The baby WILL grow up emo. Once Virgil is satisfied with the safety aspect of everything, he makes it a mission to deck the nursery out in purple and black, full of spiderweb prints, bats, black cats, the works. He paints your belly to look like a pumpkin for Halloween. He found a plush bat the size of a watermelon to be the kid’s first toy.

Deceit:

- He’s very calm through the whole thing, studying parenting books and making sure you’re not doing anything too physically strenuous. He basically forces you to relax, even if you wanted to do chores he makes sure there aren’t even any left to do. “It’s a chance to be absolutely spoiled for a time, why not take advantage of this opportunity? Just sit back down, darling, and let me handle everything.

- He finds it incredibly amusing to confuse strangers who ask stupid questions. “Oh dearie you look about ready to pop” says a kindly old woman at the grocery store. “Yes I’m afraid there’s a cantaloupe growing in there, I warned against going vegan but alas, they’re quite stubborn” says Deceit.

Remus:

- Enthusiastically indulges your weird cravings. The stranger the better, he snatches up all kind of random foods in the hope that you’ll put together some mismatched cacophony of flavors and discover a masterpiece. He makes a lot of ice cream based dishes, most of them sweet. He’s also very likely to lick the bits of sugar stuck to the corners of your mouth off of your face. It’s cute, in a way.

- Physical affection turned up to 11. Not a moment goes by that he’s not glued to your side, nuzzling your neck, cuddling up to you, laying his head on your lap, kissing your belly, everything you can think of. He just wants to hold you close forever! Even on the worst days, when you haven’t showered in a week, you’re sweating, you’re nauseous, you’re puking your guts out while sitting half-naked on the bathroom floor and sobbing in time to Pixar, he’s there with his arms wrapped around you, rubbing your belly and leaning his head on your back.

I was super inspired by this for some reason. So basically you got in an ambiguous physical incident that left you bedridden and spending most of your time sleeping.

Logan:

- He gets...quiet. Stoic. He feels like he’s failed you somehow, like he should have been able to account for all the variables that caused you get hurt. He sits by your bedside with his hands clasped in front of his face. He doesn’t sleep, he doesn’t speak, he just waits for you to wake up. He catches himself standing still in your doorway, wringing his hands, feeling like he’s been stabbed in the heart. It’s hurts in a way he doesn’t like, and he doesn’t understand how to fix it.

- While he, objectively, knows how to take care of you, he actually leaves most of the work to Patton. He disguised it as “having complete faith in Patton’s skills as a medic” and “making sure the others have something to do so they don’t become restless” but the truth is that he’s scared. He’s scared if he tried to help you, his shaking hands would give his feelings away, or even worse, that he might mess something up.

Roman:

- He’s angrier than you’ve ever seen him, more than you’ll ever see him again. Anyone involved in the incident, anyone who contributed to it, anyone who just stood by and watched, anyone who could have helped but didn’t, they’re gone. He’s scared them away, in his fit of passion and rage.

- He beats himself up over it, almost as much as Logan. But where Logan apologizes, Roman acts. You will never be let outside alone again, not ever. He will protect you, and any possible threat will be eliminated, with as much grandiose showmanship as possible, just to drive away any other potential evildoers. Nobody messes with him for weeks, he just has a violent aura that screams to the fact that he’s ready to deck anyone who gets in his, or his love’s way.

Patton:

- His internal monologue is essentially just “So THIS is what it feels like to be the level-headed one!”. With Logan experiencing regret for possibly the first time in life, and everyone else either panicking, plotting revenge, or some unholy cocktail of the two, he’s the only one with his mind in the right place. He IS a trained nurse after all, it’s his job to get you healthy again!

- He’s aggressively there for you. No task is too much, if it would help you, even a little bit, he does it. He WANTS to do it. He’s got the best hookups too, high-end painkillers, incredible food, incredibly comfortable bedding, the works. He frets like a mother hen, praising you for healing up and scolding you gently if you ever do anything against his recovery regimen.

Virgil:

- Similar to Logan, Virgil is perched by your bedside 24/7. He’s there to comfort you, even if you’re asleep he feels like he might be able to chase away any nightmares. He holds your hand and kisses your forehead every night. He plays music for you with the volume low so you won’t be bored on the off-chance you’re half awake. He sneaks things of his, and things of the others’, into your bed so you can feel like they’re there with you too.

- When you wake up, he’s even more protective. He unashamedly snarls at people who get too close, he stares down animals until they run away, he basically radiates fear over the entire grounds. You’re immune, of course, he’s very careful to keep you comfortable emotionally. Expect a lot more of him pulling you closer on instinct whenever someone suspicious shows up.

Deceit:

- Absolutely nuclear revenge. He’s teamed up with Roman, stolen one of Remus’ more destructive ideas, and worked it into a foolproof scheme to absolutely devastate anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who contributed to you getting hurt. This is the same man who insists on bandaging your wounds himself, he can’t trust anyone else to take care of such a precious part of his life, of course he’s going a tad overboard with the payback.

- Vampire saliva can help induce clotting and works as an antiseptic/anesthetic, so there’s some literal licking of wounds thrown into the metaphorical kind. He actually works WITH Patton for once to get you better, so you know he must be invested in getting you happy and healthy again.

Remus:

- He’s shocked more than anything, at least at first. He usually likes seeing wounds. He usually like seeing, smelling, tasting blood, especially yours. But this, seeing your beautiful red color seeping through bandages, tired eyes closed in sleep for much longer than normal, the subtle shift of your hand or face when you hear one of the guys’ voices? It hurts him.

- If you thought he was protective/possessive before, you’re in for a wild ride. This dynamic puts him in a position where he feels like you’re too small, too soft, too sweet to be left alone for too long. Pair that with his natural fears and it’s a recipe for one clingy boyfriend.
