I'm (not) sick.

“My therapist told me that I needed to work on my ‘interpersonal relationships’ and told me that if I didn’t, I’d spend time in solitary. Can anyone explain to me how that makes sense?”

“They probably think that if you can form friendships then you’re on the right track to recovery. I recommended faking relationships so you can get your ass out of here quicker. If only my recovery worked like that...I would of been outta here ages ago.”

Rose was admitted the the asylum only a few days earlier. To avoid people, she hid herself in her room, now being dragged out to socialize. It wasn’t something she was fond of, anymore, and she was debating whether she would’ve been better off in prison.

“Someone’s cranky.” Chase chimed in with a chuckle. He had to keep himself amused somehow. “Let me guess.” He tapped his chin with his finger as he leaned forward. “They made you leave your room, because human interaction is the key to making us mentally stable.” His words were dripping with sarcasm. “Nothing better than forcing us to make friends with the rest of societies rejects. Am I right?”

“–Hey, how do you feel about breaking the rules?”

“Depends what rules are being broken. I’m not game if it’s not exciting.”
