Ye sure, heres a quick rundown on how I do faces. 

Basically I scribble in the linework with little regard for cleanliness, just focusing on making placing the facial features where they should be, erasing and moving until i get bored. Then I turn my linework into orange by clipping on a flat color layer onto it. It’s (kind of) like an underpainting in traditional painting. I lay down some basic washes behind the linework and block in the hair, and then from there on I just start sculpting the face on top until it looks right. I don’t really have a set process from this point onwards, just painting along, making sure the major planes of the face are reading well from a distance, and fixing any errors as I go along (big ear, pupil placement, and a lot of other embarrassing stuff…)

I highly suggest reading Michael Hampton’s figure drawing book and watching Vilppu’s lectures on head/skull anatomy, they greatly help, especially the latter. Understanding the underlying structure of the skull informs you how to deal with the outer surface of the face.
