this year of summer games announcements were particularly comical because we got this effect of people lamenting certain absences like “ugh no persona announcement at state of play no news this year” nope xbox got it and they announced p4r and p6. i saw a lot of bitterness from kh fans that square announced ff7 revelations but have still been radio silent on kh4, which is totally understandable but uhhh spoke to soon NINTENDO of all companies got dibs to show a new kh4 trailer. just an endless domino effect of “no news for my favorite game… oh wait? what was that? xbox coming in with all my prayers answered? yippee!” and it’s been so fun to watch

call me a modern day icarus the way my desire to engage in fandom spaces prior to completing a piece of media gets me predictably spoiled and regretting my choices

thinking about who to put on my tomodachi island bc i only have like 10 miis planned and i’ve decided i’m going to put humanized members of the mane six and they’re ALL going to be black every single one of them “but applejack’s a cowgirl she” - nope don’t give a shit she’s black now “oh but fluttershy’s obviously white” - black girls can be gentle nature lovers too fuck you “but pinkie pie’s pink!” - then she’ll be the darkest pink she can be bam what are you gonna do now it’s my woketopia every non human character is black because i said so

the 1.8 story is hilarious to me bc nikki pulls up and everybody knows her and clocks that she’s acting different than before. everyone was so worried bc nikki got caught in the rain and people who get caught in the rain vanish from existence. so i’m over here like oh okay their nikki vanished and without her their world ends that checks out we’re taking her place. but also no because it turns out our nikki is actually a reincarnated cat deity that seemingly no one knew about but our mourning dragon girlfriend so now nikki just has to live with that now. and the og artist nikki is nowhere to be found so i’m left to assume we either took her place entirely or when we’re in danqing island we just posses her.

i’m praying for infold to give us just some normal house templates bc the idea of building and terraforming my own house from the ground up makes me genuinely sick i hated it in animal crossing i hated it in fantasy life and i know i’ll hate it here but i do want to decorate in a preexisting house

started playing new fantasy life very fun very excited very hype i have been waiting for this for years but so far one of the funniest bits is that the king of the past can smell that you’re unemployed and makes you get a job before he helps you, but you do have a job you’re an archaeologist assistant you are presently doing your job by talking to this king of the past but no it’s not one of the 12 jobs bestowed by the guild office so you have to forsake your thirst for knowledge and adventure and go pick up a fishing rod.
