in about every shoplifting community, they say that workers often refrain from calling people out on stealing unless they're 100% sure of it because they could get in trouble. what kind of trouble are we talking about? legal trouble? accusing someone of shoplifting? 

so say a store accuses me of shoplifting, and i actually havent, what could i do or say to get them in trouble? (fun fact, most places that watch me or call me out or ask if i stole anything, i never have).

alright, here’s the story.

so my partner and i were in like deb(?) or something and i saw this acid wash circle skirt i wanted and so i was like hell yeah lets take it. so i was a bit lazy and just kind of shoved in cause fuck it, but then i looked up this really ugly worker was staring right at me. she looked new. so i whispered to my partner to get the fuck out and drop everything so we did. we took nothing from that store. but as we quickly walked out, i looked behind us and the worker was walking RIGHT behind my partner. but once we left the store, she just stopped at the doorway(she didn’t know i saw her), and turned back to talk to someone. 

so fast forward maybe 30 minutes- an hour and we had looped around the mall again and we were in hot topic when a cop is standing outside. two girls(one tall and one short) were walking out of the store when the cop told them to come over and he sounded angry. so me and partner looked at eachother, because partner is short and i am tall. we knew he meant to be talking to us. so we waited until he wasnt paying attention and hid in the pacsun changing rooms next door. we peeked outside and the cop was wondering around, talking to some black people(racist asshole). then, we saw the girl walking and looking around, even though we took fucking nothing from her shitty ass store. so we waited some more time until the cop was distracted and we ran out of pacsun and exited the mall and hid behind a dumpster by the movie theatre until my parents came. the end.

so technically, we weren’t caught. not really close. but if that cop got us we wouldve got in deep shit cuz we took probably 800-900 dollars worth of shit total.

usually i just say the mall was having a huge sale or my friend bought something for me/grew out of her clothes so she gave me them. or if she asks about a piece of clothing, juts say "oh, i've had this forever, you've never seen it before?"

i got really into it and could feel myself becoming more and more careless. so i took a step back and stopped for over two months, and i dont regret it at all. surely, you dont have to go as long as this, but i guarantee youre going to fuck up if you desire it this often.

but anyway we had our magnets last night and we had no idea how to use them. we tried at hot topic, jcps, and everything. \

can somebody send me a link to a WORKING magnet(that works preferably at hot topic). i am willing to pay a lot for it because why not.

also, will you explain to me how the magnets work? like do i just hover it over the tag?

they just weren't there visibly and we took a dare and just walked out with tagged shit. never do that though, thats a horrible move.
