your muse can live in the same neighborhood and be a stars-in-their-eyes, soft-spoken creative type (think the movie priscilla and/or lizzy grant aka lana), someone a little financially better off or struggling to pay their bills elsewhere, or whatever you want. mostly looking for fxm, but i also like the idea of them meeting by the basketball court at night or sharing a cigarette and becoming friends while harboring feelings for another.

i want them to have a lot of problems, both in their relationship and in general. they could be small disagreements like one thinks the other was looking at someone else for a little too long or simple miscommunications. it could be bigger things like rushing into a relationship and moving in together too soon or suspected cheating.

a ship where i get to write a guy

a girl living in the city. i see her being more reserved and bookish. i want to do more slice of life things, little details, and slow burn or platonic stuff, but i'm open to more dramatic things if they fit.

muse a (taken) is down on her luck, not that she's really had much to begin with. she has tried to use her looks to get ahead, but it's more of a hinderance than anything -- with clients at work often stepping out of bounds by calling her personal number and inviting her places other than the office. muse b seems no different -- a wealthy magnate vying for her personal attention. that's until he steps in and saves the day. he makes some grand gesture that wins muse a over. she feels taken care of. having muse b's arm over her shoulder feels like some sort of armor to douchebags. suddenly, she's 'off limits'. muse b is more than happy to take up the role of a bodyguard.

let me write about a close mother/daughter bond where the father isn't in the picture and the daughter has a little more responsibility and there's mutual respect. will also write about a mother/son dynamic, but i think i want the write as the mom regardless.

based on adventureland. our muses both work at a theme park. they spend their summer watching everyone else enjoy theirs. they do what they can to make the most of it, like sneaking to the beach at night, grabbing a drink, etc. bonus points if it's a will they/won't they thing. can be purely platonic though. alt could be working on the boardwalk.

based on spring breakers. similarly, they don't have enough money to do what they want during summer. maybe it's smaller shortcuts to a vacation like sneaking into hotels and resorts. maybe it's outright stealing and/or scamming to pay for the vacation of their dreams.

based on the hills. a group of friends stay in a beach house for the summer. some are dating. maybe one muse is the best friend and the other is the best friend's significant other. maybe they have feelings for each other but have never spoken about it and finding themselves alone in the kitchen is awkward. alternative: maybe the significant other was always repulsed by their s.o.'s best friend, but wound up cheating during the trip. the best friend keeps taunting them while the other doesn't want their s.o. to find out and wishes the best friend would shut up.

not summery, but still wanted!

based on disturbia. muse a is on house arrest and their only form of entertainment is pining for their neighbor muse b. to their luck, muse b actually takes an interest in them and gives them to the time of day. the horror plot (them thinking their neighbor is a murderer and the neighbor starts dating their mom or someone close to them) is optional.

based on tell me lies. would pretty much do any plot from that show/book, but i'm specifically looking for the lucy and leo dynamic. the 'lucy' just got out of a toxic relationship and started seeing the 'leo'. the leo is doing their best to reassure them that they're not cheating or anything like their toxic ex, but the lucy isn't so convinced. bonus points if we keep the plot of the leo losing their temper in public and getting into a physical fight.
