“...I guess this isn’t where I expected my place to be. It’s not where I wanted it to be, admittedly, but what can I do?”

“That was the last time I took advice from a casino customer, honestly. I may be a resident of the deeper and darker parts of Los Angeles, but that certainly doesn't mean I'd date anyone there.”

She swings her legs a little. Since the fight with Spierce this morning, she’s a little hesitant to get into a fight until she heals up completely, but it’d be a lie to say she isn’t peckish.

Time to assume the posture of someone who was naive enough to walk around at night with their guard down, making sure to note any and all possible exits. If the person watching sier was a ghoul, sie could take care of the issue fairly quickly. If not, well... Sie could still take care of it very easily.

“Sounds strange indeed. I’d assume you’re the rose in a field of dandelions, of course.” Now sie’s flirting.

“I don’t know, I work with five tall children and you’re the best looking one I’ve met so far.”

“Really, now?” A small, sly smile. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say you were flirting with me, Akira.”

“I would. Don’t worry, I’ve seen my fair share of weird things, too. I’ll believe anything at this point.”

“...For example, if you’ve seen so many weird things that you’ll believe anything, and you work with people you consider to be childish, I’d assume that they’re not just childish, but a strange bunch in general. Abnormal beyond the point of what one would consider normal for a gang of artificial ghouls.” For a secret spy, sie sure is open about sier methods. “That could be applied to your other coworkers, too, but not without more evidence.”
