Why this|| Zino / Investigation (?)
It was a pleasant date for him too. Had it really been so late when they departed? According to his watch, it was around 3am or so when they finally finished their date. He got Nanami to talk about herself. In turn of course, she learned about his situation as well. But now, he was left with dirty dishes. He had picked all the dishes up when he came across it.
…Nanami’s shoe, left in what smelled like blood. His eyes widened now as he came across it. Hastily, he picked it up and ran towards the girl’s room. Was she ok? Was this her blood on the ground? He had to find out. As he ran inside, he heard a door slam shut. Please let that be her. Please don’t let that blood be hers! He didn’t care if he was possibly carrying evidence: He had to find out what happened to Nanami. Would she even be alive to receive this shoe? He looked really pathetic then, as he made his way to Nanami’s door and knocked rather loudly. “Nanami-chan? I saw the shoe: Are you…alright?” His call became more desperate as he stood out there, waiting for an answer. “Please be alright Nanami-chan. If something happened to you, I…” Wow shit he was sweating as his worry increased. …Did he have to lose more people in the next few days? REALLY?
The knocking and calls managed to pull the girl out of her murder induced despair long enough for her to get back on her feet. It was Zino. Was he.. was he worried about her? They hadn't even known each other all that long, but the tone of his voice..
Was that even him out there, though? Hesitantly, she opened the door, breathing a brief sigh of relief as she quickly regained her composure. However, her expression wasn't one of happiness, and her stoic facade was in place again. The only remainder of her emotional outburst was a leftover dampness on her cheeks that she promptly wiped away.
"... There's been a murder.." While she was happy about his concern about her well-being, the fact that someone actually took another life shook the young birdwatcher to the core. Sure, death was natural, but for it to be snuffed out... The way she felt seemed to contrast completely with what she had told Monobear. "I'm.. fine though. You don't have to worry."
