Shrugging Cutely

Already a mess due to sleep, then my bus ended up being 3 minutes late, then I had to wait 15 minutes at the employment agency

First thing the lady says is I should be punctual next time. I haven't even sat down yet, my brain goes blank, I don't know what to say, I finally stammer "ah, I should be faster if I take the other bus stop". She's already annoyed and I'm already completely off-balance

She has a pride flag on her potted plant and a sheet of paper saying "world's #1 grandma" on her wall

She is very rude about a bunch of things until I manage to explain to her I don't actually know how this works ("you didn't write any applications, you have to do that") because up until now the employment agency told me every time I should do things on my own instead because they can't really give me any extra support (on account of nothing having worked enough in the past). Then she is visibly frustrated that I don't follow the flow of the conversation -- at this point I only answer questions because I don't want to talk at her when she seems so annoyed (also lol you ask yes/no questions). She stares at her PC so I don't even know if she's waiting for an answer or focusing on something. I don't end up bringing up anything that could be relevant because I'm just kind of holding on

Her blinds clatter against the window the whole time

Feel like crying the whole way home and like I just barely managed to get through this
