Belle had always been the optimist, even when the situation hadn’t presented itself to be one that she could conquer. However, being held in a castle with the Dark One as her captor hadn’t seemed confusing to understand - there were ways to make the best of it. Perhaps, she’d have been comfortable there, even if she were alone, because once the clouds came, nothing could have prepared her for the test.
Unfortunately, she had awoken from a slumber to find herself in the middle of a paved road. Unlike any she’d seen before. There were strange markings that she inspected with curious eyes, as if someone had painted lines for no apparent reason. Were they related to the mechanical contraptions that sat at the edge of the pavement? It was all to confusing to comprehend.
Belle thought she knew every land in the world, fictional or not. However, this was a complete mystery. Maybe it was one of Rumple’s games. Had he grown tired and sent her away? Was this to be her destiny?
“Hello?” she called out, hopeful that someone would answer her. “Can anyone hear me? Dark One?”

One moment Will was inside the house he and Lizard were squatting in, the next he was in a strange new place full of shit he’d never seen before. Having spent the last few years in Wonderland, Will didn’t think anything could surprise him anymore. But this was definitely... different.
“Lizard?” he said to the air around him. Even if she was here, it was doubtful she would hear him unless he spoke louder. But shouting wasn’t a risk he was willing to take -- not until he knew where he was at least. There could be dangers in the unknown. “Caterpillar?” he asked. For one fleeting moment, Will thought maybe this was some elaborate hell the Caterpillar had concocted, as punishment for all his unpaid debts. No, surely if this was his doing, Will would be in a lot more pain right now.
Looking around, Will approached one of the metal wagons. His instinct, even here, was to check for anything valuable, anything worth pocketing. He tried the door of the wagon -- locked. He was scanning the area for a tool that might help him open it when he heard someone shouting nearby.
Will turned the corner and, seeing Belle, walked towards her. “Hello,” he said, stopping a few feet away from her. “I’m assumin’ from the look of general confusion on your face that ya don’t know where the fuck we are either?”
