The petals have fallen into the pond

To see a shadow reflected on water

you lay the flower crown on his dark green hair, and he looks like an angel.

the wind blows through it and his cheeks are tinted in red.

you two are sitting on the grass, by a lake. the water's reflections enlighten his freckles, making him look even more ethereal.

I lied down and smiled

The time I yearned

Idly passes by

he scratches one cheek with his fingers "don't i look ridiculous?"

you lay down and burst into a laugh

"ridiculous? you look beautiful" you reply. he lies down next to you "oh.." he mutters.

Towards clear flowers

When I bring my lips near

You face this way

With a smile like spring

you caress his forehead, brushing a strand away "you heard me" you point out, and smile.

he smiles too, and you kiss him.

water is falling from his damp hair, his forehead on the tiles. 

the water is almost too hot, almost burning, but he doesn't move. the feeling inside his chest is burning so much more. 

the match is over, his muscles are tired, but not his mind, keep spinning around the thought of you. 

your face appears in fragments: the curve of your smile, the soft touch of your hand, the sound of your voice calling his name. 

the steam covers the glass walls of the shower, and without really thinking about it, he writes your name on it. a palm rests beside these words, the wall feeling cold, and he wishes he was leaning on your skin instead.

he enters the bedroom, and his eyes dart on his phone, while his mind darts on that message never sent. he lays on the bed, the bed you used to share. the screen lighs up his face.
