i think shouto says some of the most romantic shit ever and doesn’t even have to try. like it’s not that he uses flowery romantic language, because he doesn’t, but he’ll text you when he’s off on a long mission, saying something like ‘my chest hurts when i’m away from you. please call me tonight.’ and part of the reason it’s so romantic is bc you know without a shadow of a doubt that he means it. he feels a physical pain when separated from you and he misses you always whenever you go longer than a few hours without seeing each other.
