Only newly folded into the Mikaelsons' new life in NOLA, Hayley is a little uncomfortable when suddenly she is left with a great responsibility: The eldest Mikaelson brother has fallen ill with a supernaturally caused fever, reliving unclear memories as he sleeps. As his siblings attempt to find the perpetrator, Hayley is left his only guardian. As Hayley realizes her ability to calm Elijah in his restless state, it also dawns on them both that perhaps this charged feeling between them is mutual.

(Set around the beginning of Season 1 of The Originals; none of the actual drama of the setting of the show at that time is mentioned, I just wrote it with the big House in mind instead of the Compound.)

verbs don't carry a lot of diseases actually, if it was a noun then you'd have to get a vaccine or risk getting a bad case of the cases

while nouns do carry a risk of cases, PLEASE do not dismiss a verb bite. depending on species, they can carry inflection (such as conjugation, as anon mentioned) or worse: derivation.

100% agree! Remember, you may not see symptoms of inflection right away, but the early stages aren't usually physical -- there are a lot of aspects to watch out for. If you experience mood swings, or start feeling tense, those can be early signs.

Actually you SHOULD make problematic content. You SHOULD explore dark or taboo topics. You SHOULD have a space where you can cope with your traumas or explore sensitive topics in a way that doesn't hurt anyone.

Also you should make problematic content for funsies. You don't need to have had trauma or need to be coping in order to explore dark creativity. You can just be a human who wants to explore dark and taboo topics because you want to. That's completely normal, btw.
