Lilah thought it over for a few minutes. “As long as it doesn’t take longer than a few days.” She wanted it wrapped up sooner rather than later so she could get back to keeping her up her winning streak.

                  Faith mulled over the offer for a second or so, calculating internally the statistics of how long it would take for her to get the job done. Granted if she wanted it done fast, it would be sloppy and rushed, but Faith wasn’t about that. She wanted to enjoy the chase and torture of taking Angel’s deathless life. “ Gimme three days. ” she bartered, hues scanning over the woman.

“Is that why they sent you after me? Because they don’t know the truth? That when you tried being all big and bad you were in over your head…” She was struggling. He could tell; not like she was hiding it. “Oh Faithy I seem to remember a time where I could make you bleed, scream, and beg for more all in the same time…”  He smirked as he slowly sauntered forward. “Are you trying to be all up and up Faithy?” he asked her, “Trying to be a good girl…when we all know you’re my girl.”

                    Swallowing the hard lump, the doe eyed slayer kept her guard up. Her eyes following his every move. It was hard enough seeing him again, let alone feeling him creeping under her skin, just like he always did. “ Once upon a time. ” she croaked, frozen on the spot as the vampire moved closer. It was almost like a switch clicked inside of her the second he called her his girl. Her hand balling into a fist ready to strike. “ I said stop. ” she warned, a tiny ounce of confidence breaking through the fear. She wasn’t frightened of him, not at all. She was frightened of the monster that he could make her. The memories of the sheer lengths that she would go to just to keep him in her bed once the job was done.

Hugging. Yeah. He recalls. Wouldn’t be a good thing, though by now, he knows that if it lead to anything else, it wouldn’t cost him his soul. But still, maybe it would, and maybe, even worse, would ruin their friendship, nevermind the nagging attraction he was feeling in the back of his mind about her. “Hey, it was you who said no hugging.” Angel points back teasingly, making a mental note to indeed, show her the bike once it was all over.

“Sexy.” He repeats, almost as if it was a foreign word, maybe it was. People, women, were never this forward about him. To him. Darla had been, but she was forward about anything and anyone. He jumps in the driver’s seat and turns on the engine,leading the way out of the garage and onto the streets of LA. “Maybe later. I think I can survive not sulkin’ for a night.”

                  The slayer grinned up at him, her eyes trailing over his brooding look. “ Yeah, only ‘cause you’d get all soul lossy on me. ” she teased, her smile turning into a smirk. Faith was far from the young girl he had met, although she had many times made an advance at Angel it went nothing more than an acted kiss. 

Faith chuckled at his relay of the word, a truth she would never deny if pulled up on the subject. Just as the brunette was about to tease Angel further a song began to blare through the raidio, causing the slayer to squeal with excitement. It was a song by her favorite band Freak Wharf. Her horse voice mirroring the lyrics with a blissful look of nostalgia on her features. “ What a tune! ” she beamed. Although there was a pain in her voice as she sung along with it, reminiscing on the beat played by her first and last boyfriend. The drummer Kenny.

                she really didn’t reply to this. not because she was speechless or had nothing to say on THAT matter, but it was not a good time to even question anything right now.                      the team was keen on her, angel even more because after all, HE was the one that gave her the chance to change and become a better person. which, lie not ahead, she could see herself that faith wasn’t the SAME woman or slayer she was when she met her in sunnydale.  or even when she went nuts and start back stabbing and butt heading people for no reason.

                ‘ i haven’t read on slayer DIARIES anymore than you but everywhere there’s a monster, a slayer must slay.  or some crap like that. ‘ she shrugs. ‘  i had a vision.  this ogre thing is terrorising people downtown. ‘ she said before she placed a small knife to her other boot holder.

                          ‘ hope your fists can still fist? ‘ she said, grinning.

                      faith’s eyebrows raised as she listened to cordelia, although faith was much more sane these days the rage and fight within, was still very much there. she had CONTROL now, well at least she believed she did.

                    “ something like that. ” faith quipped, doe eyes trailing over the axe in hand as she adjusted her grip on it. the smile that was threatening to reveal itself piercing through now at cordelia’s remark. “ it’s alright cor, i’ll keep my fists strictly on the shrek. ” she teased, nicknaming the unknown creature.
