Demon Twins AU where Danial DOES die and is sent to the zone. He happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when the Fenton Portal opens, and winds up being entangled with Danny during the explosion. When Danny exits the portal his body is different everything hurts and suddenly there's a rush of memories that he knows aren't his. Then it's Danny Phantom except he has the memories of a childhood inside an assassin cult to deal with and a tugging in his core telling him to find the twin that he doesn't really have.

Danial died at 10 at the hands of his brother. Dumped in the pits as part of his Grandfather's plan, but instead of emerging from death- his body melted off.

Danny died at 10 after sneaking into his parent’s unsupervised basement. Too young and weak, the machine killed him.

But Danial’s soul had been in the exact spot the Fenton portal opened. Danny’s soul tethering in the living and the dead, merged with his soul.

The life of one body became too complicated while trying to make sense of two entirely different sets of memories.
