do you think there will be a sequel to this or perhaps another snobyn game in the near future??? :00
To answer the first part - I pretty exhaustively researched the games, and there's been references and throwbacks to almost every game in the franchise - even a buncha spinoffs! So unfortunately, I don't think there's an opportunity for a sequel to this game that would be as fresh. We might be better off for it because OOF, this game really hit the emotions hard.
As for the second part - that's another no from me cheif :( Snobyn have decided that we're going to take a break - we finished two games in just over a year! That's insane, but it's also incredibly tiring. We do have plans for a future game, but we're taking a 2 month break at the very least. Maybe more, definitely not less.
However, thank you for your interest! đ It's very encouraging knowing that people are open to the idea of future snobyn games - keeps us in the business!
Whenever we do start a new game, I'm sure we'll reblog the promo here to keep y'all in the loop!
After all was said and done, the remaining four turned to leave the lighthouse. Surprisingly, it wasnât the maze they had previously wandered through. It was just a simple lighthouse, with only a few flights of stairs to worry about. The normality of the situation was so jarring, but there was a distinct lack of threat on the way back.
The door to the outside leaked sunshine, something sorely missed after all this time. Waiting beyond the door was Wallace, with a look of approval.
âLooks like you guys got to the bottom of it. Nice.â Thumbs up. Perhaps a bit too upbeat, considering what had transpired.
âThere should be a way out to the highway,â he turned and pointed to a distant road. Well, not that distant. The town felt a lot smaller without all the fog everywhere. âKeep heading north, easy way out.â
Without a word, the gang did just that, following the road up to the highway, one just as quiet as they were. Maybe the only option was to walk? Who knows how long that would take. Regardless, they walked on, before a distant roar caught the attention of the group.
The gunshot rang out around the room, before a moment of still. Soon broken, as Clair slumped against the wall, holding herself tightly.
Despite the obvious pain, she was trying hard to maintain her composure. She looked up at the others, by now appearing as little more than a shell of what they knew her as. Her wounds were fresh, and she tried to open her mouth to speak. âIf⌠if you can, I have⌠a request.â Her voice was weak, barely above a whisper, but the silence of the room made it linger in the air.
âPlease, just...wait here, a little bit longer.â A shuddering breath, as tears welled up in her eyes. âIâm scared of⌠going alone.â Clair accepted her fate willingly, but that didnât make it any easier to go through. She winced in pain, lowering herself to the floor. Everything that she could possibly say had been said; all that was left was the choice to offer her some final comfort by staying behind.
Clair laid there for what felt like an eternity, eyes focused on something only she could see, as one who existed on the boundary of life and death. Slowly, she felt the forces of Silent Hill breaking off, and with them her apprehensions vanishing. A wave of calm ran over the room as a soft smile came to her face.
âHey, I⌠missed you old man. I mustâve⌠had you worried sick, huh?â She laughed weakly. âI made some⌠new friends⌠from school. Youâd really like them. Iâll⌠tell you all about them⌠soon.â With a long last breath, Clair shut her eyes, and died in the same way one might fall asleep.

The trial was... meandering. Many gaps of silence, and very little felt like it was being solved. It felt more like you were going in circles, finding an answer felt futile. Another of these silences was broken by a sudden quiet voice.
âGuysâŚâ
It was Melodyâs voice that caught everyoneâs attention, and once she had it it seemed as though the room went quiet. Everyoneâs eyes were on her, but not for long. The light flowing in from the windows showed clearly what Melody had seen, and now everyone else had seen it too. Every pair of eyes in the room, bar one, converging to a single point.
No one spoke, which brought every sound in the room to the forefront. The sound of heavy breathing, of drops hitting the metallic floor were drowned out as everyone processed what was happening. It was so clear in front of everyone, but almost unbelievable.
Faced with blank stares and complete silence, the mastermind looked down to their hand, and back to everyone, seeming⌠scared by the blood. But the fear and initial surprise quickly gave way to⌠calm. They put their hand down and exhaled.
âI⌠I see. I guess this is the townâs way of telling me to give up the act, right? I guess I should just⌠fess up and keep whatever dignity I have left.â There was another heavy sigh. âWell, here I am. The one behind it all.â They smiled sadly. âIt looks like you guys won.â
Puzzles were solved, notes were read, reality was warped, and now, climbing upwards in Hellâs Elevator, nothing really made sense. Was it really one of the five standing in this elevator? That was a hard to swallow concept.
Not many thoughts or theories came to mind as the elevator made its final stopâŚ
The top of the lighthouse. After all this time, you had finally made it.
Cold air drifted around, the silence was uncomfortable.
No more scares had happened since the yeeting of Melody, thankfully. Days and days had gone by, and it may have occurred to you, there had been no monsters in this part of town. That was⌠unsettling, but it was one less problem to deal with.
On a particularly chilly morning, you awoke to Wallace and his trusty megaphone, âHEY FUCKERS, HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN THE LAKE?â Hm thereâs urgency in his voice, that isnât very common.
With a sense of dread, the five of you stepped outside, and witnessed something⌠quite strange. Frost crept up the sides of the pier,  and chunks of ice floated atop the visible parts of the lake. No wonder it was so cold. The temperature continued to dive, and more and more of the area froze over.
It all culminated with large pillars of ice rising up, crashing through the pier, and blocking off the route back to the town.
âThatâs not ideal.â Wallace said that into his megaphone to try and help the mood. Â It didnât.
âHaha, anyway.â Moving swiftly on, âI came here to tell you guys that I had a realisation, and then this shit kinda happened so thatâs. Yeah.â Just spit it out pal, âSo, uh. Everything recently has been kinda fucked up! When I told you guys not to fuck up, and you did? Yeah, that shit shouldnât have happened the way it did. I know. Iâve been here for fucking forever.â
Wallace scratches the back of his head, and heâs tempted to do the next part through the megaphone too, but instead throws it into the lake, and it thumps against some ice, âBottom line is, thereâs answers that you guys have to find.â he gestures to the lighthouse like that one will smith meme, âAnd theyâre probably in there, since thatâs the only place you guys can go.â
âI canât do that shit for you, so I think Iâm gonna retire from this tour guide shit. I hope you guys get out and I never see any of you again.â And like that, wallace just fucking fades outta reality.
Pack up all you can fellas, this is gonna be a long haul. Also tell Sna what u packed so I can keep track of it. Thereâs one way in and no way out, fellas.
Feet pattered along the docks, making your way up to where the sound had been heard. Hm⌠couldnât be good.
Standing around the area where the sound was heard was⌠Castor Lyle Voltaire, who was probably not the source of said sound. Heâs dusting off his hands and looking pretty smug about⌠something, although the only real difference in the vicinity were the lingering ripples at the surface of the water.
Natalia steps up, and holds up her trusty notepad with a face of concern and curiosity, as her flat tone asks, âHey Castor? So, uh, what happened here? What the fuck was the scream?â her tone makes it unintentionally kind of funny, but the gang are used to it now.
Castor barely even spares a glance at the rest of the group, bluntly responding with "What, that? It was just Melody." Yeah... yeah. Of course it was. "I wanted to see what would happen if someone just so happened to 'accidentally' fall in," he says in what is quite possibly the least convincing manner he has said anything ever, including the very close approximation of verbal air quotes.
As if on cue, the ripples in the water open up, and Melodyâs head pops up from under the inky abyss, filling her lungs with air.Â
âH- Wh-- Oh, hey guys.â if she wasnât treading water right now, this is the part where she would wave. Sheâs very damp, thatâs what happens when you are in water. âUh. This? Itâs fine. This is fine.â Said just like that one comic.
And up the path from the town came everyoneâs favourite ghost, Wallace Gromit, âHey what the fuck was th--âÂ
He cuts himself off as he catches sight of Melody, and just sighs. âCool. Yeah, alright.â He turns around, and walks away. Donât worry, he comes right back, with a life preserver, throwing it into the water, towards Melody, and walks away again.
The life preserver hits Melody square in the face, and sheâs immediately knocked back into Toluca Lake. Castor doesnât even try to hide the fact that heâs laughing at it.
Wow! This place was peaceful! Too peaceful, the only real attraction was the amusement park. The amusement park which had a notable amount of havoc wreaked upon it. (thanks lads) Nothing much went on, other than that, just normal, average days. It was⌠just a tad harder to treat as normal, even compared to life in the other locations, but it was as normal as five not-all-too-stable kids could make it.
Well, it was normal until a loud screech broke through the air just north of the apartments mid-afternoon. And⌠a splash? The apartments were on the docs, so that couldnât be too surprising. The screech was certainly a point of concern, though.

There had been a notable struggle to keep peace over the last few nights. Understandably so, considering the circumstances. Nobody had really attempted anything, per se. Well, some did get hammered out of their minds. That was just how it be on this bitch of an earth. Nobody bothered to go outside, the new area was a tad daunting, considering the stressful situation, not to mention the potential for someone to snap and murder again because of it.
Thankfully, a new morning came, and with it, was our ghost with the most, Wallace Gromit, and his trusty megaphone.
âUp and at em fellas. New area, new maps.â
A sluggish start for most, but eventually, everyone made it to the front of the apartments, on the docks, to meet Wallace, who was holding⌠a lot. Megaphone⌠candy floss⌠stuffed bearâŚ. AND the brochures.
âOh yeah the amusement park here is sweet. I couldâve come here sooner, but between an amusement park and seeing you bastards? Yeah, no.â Wow harsh. Justified, but harsh.
âAnyway hereâs the new maps, itâs pretty cool and shit.â Map: get.
With that, Wallace took a step back, took a bite of his candyfloss, and walked away. âHave fun losers.â
Yikes. The stench of what remained of Jay permeated the church, abruptly cut off by the door slamming shut. Everyone was reeling, not only from the experience, but also a confession which had risen up.
Quite simply, Jay was wrongly executed.
Shocking, horrific. No wonder Wallace said never to fuck this up, Â you were stuck with a murderer. Thatâs a shame. What followed the confession was ceaseless chaos, and almost another casualty.
Wallace got up from the pews, holding the very same leaflet that had started this whole ordeal, as well as a magnifying glass. âUh, well, what you guys are doing is nice and all, but you see, you arenât getting out of here.â What?
âThe rules state, and I quote: â*Body(s) must be displayed in one piece and discovered within the time limit or else the murder is not considered an entry!!â This⌠crime didnât match either of those T&Cs.â
That was just Melodyâs luck.
Filling the silence after that, came the clatter of keys once more, much more than the usual two, in fact, it was closer to 8, as well as⌠a pink phone. Goodness, the town was being awfully generous to a murderer.
With that, Wallace took his leave, opening the door⌠and letting out a groan. âOh fuck, weâre on the pier.â
Indeed, the apartments were now at the side of the pier, the Lighthouse in close proximity.
Zoinks.
How will that go? Find out after the week break (we take this break to prepare for the final chapter, itâs tradition and makes life easier)
