I consume information in the form of audio better. So yes, podcasts are an essential part of my day. I usually have different news podcasts on, just so I could compare the information and understand the bias factor. Recently I have been listening to Vox media platform because their narrative is defined by quite a young  and diverse crowd as compared to the other News Outlets.

Another podcast that I listen to on repeat is Caliphate by Rukmini Callimachi, who is a phenomenal war journalist.The podcast really captures the sounds effects  as you listen her story about uncovering the documents that were left by ISIS in the rubbles of Syria. The sound effects are ‘crisp’ and precise to every movement.

The grinding sound of coffee beans is quite soothing

I can hear birds chirping through a window nearby

There is a subtle sound of refrigerator in the background

Utensils are being shifted as someone is cooking breakfast

Ambulance sirens can be heard which are never treat, especially during this pandemic

Gestalt 7 Principles:

- Closure (Cashews in cirle)
