My thing is you literally just need a cow to give birth to give milk. You can have her bred by a bull, you can let her raise her calf and keep her calf forever if you want, and you never have to kill her. Sheâll still give milk.
So no killing any cows is completely unrelated to making any cheese lol
Plus I doubt those machines are painful, or at least as painful as having a very full udder with no way to release the milk out. I would assume it´s about as bad as a human breast pump, but automated.
(But seriously, OP, what the FUCK was this doing in the Black Lives Matter tag? Thanks for insinuating black people are animals.)
Keep in mind the people who post these have actually no idea what agriculture is. A dairy farm is different from a cattle farm. Beef cows are raised and fed differently than dairy cows. Rarely if ever do they intersect at least as a traditional practice.
These people just look at farmers and think they are too dumb to do their jobs. Yes Big Ag is a fucking problem but these people simply put their ire directly on people who legitimately know better than them.
FUN FACT: many dairy farmers ahve actually drive through milker stations due to "BIO" regulations. THE COW GO INTO THOSE STATIOSN ON THEIR OWN TO GET THEIR UDDER SUCKED. THEY LIKE BEING MILKED.

So a child came to you with concerns and criticism, and rather than ignoring said criticism because it wasnât relevant to the fan work (taking your word for this), you decided to belittle them and imply their parents should be monitoring their internet use.
Cool. Cool thing you did there. Cool way for an adult to treat a child.
I wonder how theyâre going to respond the next time they see something fucked up in fandom, or worse, experience it. Like the rampant sexual harassment and assault at conventions. Do you think theyâre going to talk to an adult? Or do you think theyâre going to internalise it as just part of the fandom and their fault for showing up?
If a child came to OP with concerns and criticism about adult content they shouldnât be viewing, then their parents should be monitoring their internet usage because they arenât obeying rating based restrictions.
If a 12 year old snuck into see Deadpool or It and then complained to the threats about it, the theater would probably call their parents and report them for sneaking into an R rated movie.
Ratings are their for a reason.
Also, âtalk to your parents/other trusted adultâ if something upsets you is good advice. OP is telling them they need to talk to an adult, their parents, not a stranger on the internet.
If an adult has a problem with a childâs behavior offline, a light warning and speaking to the parents is how it goes, nothing odd about that. But online, as much as we would like to have an adult conversation about how little Timmy needs to stop peeking in neighborâs windows because heâs not ready to understand swinging and pony play yet and besides heâs breaking the law, we have to interact with the children themselves in a more direct fashion. We have to rely on them to ask their parents to step up and parent, and thatâs more responsibility than some of them want to handle.
What I do find ironic about this entire situation is that the children donât hesitate to demand that the adult fans treat them like the children they are, but when we do, theyâre upset. They donât want, âThe sign means âstay outâ Timmy,â or âIâm going to have to talk to your mother, Timmy,â but âPour the booze down the toilet, babyproof the house and turn the whole world into a Zero Tolerance zone because Timmy exists.â For a group thatâs so staunchly anti-kink, theyâre very into ageplay and topping from the bottom.
ââŚthe children donât hesitate to demand that the adult fans treat them like the children they are, but when we do, theyâre upset.â
T H A T is the fucking truth right there. I get sick of hearing âIâm a minor, itâs your responsibility as an adult to protect me from seeing bad things!!â and then when my response is âstay away from my blog, stay away from my AO3, and if you arenât old enough to be seeing occasional porn then tumblr isnât a good place for you because itâs a poorly designed website and youâre gonna stumble on that shitâ, then Iâm still not doing my job.
what the fuck do you expect me to do? I really wanna know. other than tagging and slapping big, obvious warning labels on anything I post, I want to know what Iâm expected to do to protect minors with internet access.
See, what I think is happening is that they REALLY want to not have to see the age-inappropriate things they PERSONALLY donât like, without having to put in any effort to avoid said things. If their parents start monitoring their computer stuff, they wonât be able to see the age-inappropriate stuff they DO want to see. After all, if NSFW stuff is properly tagged, they shouldnât have been able to see it in the first place unless they were already looking for NSFW things, right?
Feminists did not create the idea of the disposable man, society that said women are too weak to fight or to weak to do tough jobs did. Feminists did not say that women are better caregivers and thus deserve custody more. Cut it out. We can talk about menâs issue without blaming them on âthe equality groupâ and putting down womenâs issues.Â
Well itâs a good thing Iâm talking about FEMINISMÂ and NOT THE EQUALITY GROUP.
âFeminists did not create the idea of the disposable man â
Disposable? I wish feminists just thought we were disposable.
thereâs tossing us aside when weâre no longer use to you and then thereâs youâre feminists for motherâs wanting a large portion of us genocided.
âFeminists did not say that women are better caregivers â
Of course not. Feminists just do everything in their power to keep fatherâs away from their kids.
Instances of NOW opposing shared parenting bills in 2005 and 2009 along with the actual bills
The NOW opposes bill to give fathers shared custody 2009
National Organization for Women opposes shared parenting joint custody bill 2010
Feminist and womenâs groups oppose default joint custody bills 1986
Feminist groups oppose joint custody shared parenting
Feminist groups oppose shared parenting and refuse to sit at same table as men 2001
âWe can talk about menâs issueâ
Feminists have said enough about menâs issues with both their words and their actions.
If you feminist cared about men why would feminist create rape laws that exclude female rapists?
If you feminist cared about men Why would feminist make it impossible to charge women with rape?
If you feminist cared about men why on earth would feminist cover up female domestic violence?
If you feminist cared about men why do feminist keep victim blaming us for our own abuse?
If you feminist cared about men why hasnât anything been done about the mandatory primary aggressor police training that make it so men are charged for reporting their own abuse? I MEAN FEMINISTS CREATED IT.
Feminists threaten to kill woman for saying men need abuse shelters.
Feminists prevent a meeting about male suicide.
Feminists stage mock murders to scare men.
Feminist attacks male cartoonist and is hailed a hero of feminism.
Feminists shut down forum for battered husbands.
Feminists attack church.
Feminists transphobia
Feminists say Men canât be raped.
Feminist made bomb threat in the District of Columbia

I have been a feminists for too many years and I have seen with my own two eyes that feminism has done way too much damage to ever be allowed anywhere near a conversation about menâs issues.
FEMINISM HAS LOST MY TRUST A LONG TIME AGO AND I WILL NEVER TRUST THEM AGAIN.
Look you can masterpost and show anecdotes from extreme feminists all you want, but I am talking about solving issues here. Most people do not think like this. I used to spread this exact thing around, from you 4 years ago, but itâs flawed because itâs not representative of most people.
When you want to talk about menâs issues; of being viewed as disposable and having to fight or do tough jobs, that is because of traditional gender roles and men being told to man up and stop complaining. To be the primary breadwinner, because âreal men make the money and real men fightâ. When men canât meet these expectations by traditional society how does that make them feel? Being told to âman upâ, and men actually trying to do it, this repression of and the inability to express emotions is why so many men commit suicide.
And, the reason why men lose custody battles is because women are viewed as nurturing caregivers while men arenât. The reason why women face less harsh sentences is because they are viewed as less of a threat just because traditional society views them as weaker. Same thing goes for talking about women who abuse men and saying âheâs a man, she canât hurt himâ.Â
Modern feminism comes from the standpoint of women yes, but by tackling gender roles and the ideas of having to âbe a manâ or âbe a womanâ, they are helping with so many menâs issues brought up by menâs rights activists.Â
Who were the one socially allowed to be those things are who were not? Who were the ones who dominated every aspect of society and who were the ones that were told they didnât need to get a higher education and should just live to serve their husband and children? Or if they did work, who were the ones told to be the doctors and who were told to be the nurses, who were told to be the businessmen and who were told to be the secretaries?Â
This wasnât just like leaders saying something and people followed even though they didnât feel like it. This was the general consensus for everybody in society. Men were uplifted to be superior and women were treated as inferior. It does not matter if women who accepted their âplaceâ also supported this idea, because the women who didnât support it were told to sit down and shut up.Â
Oh you poor deluded soul, you actually believe in all the myths about our ancestors?
Women had jobs. Women were respected members of society. Men were drafted en-masse by the kings to die in pointless territorial conflicts and women had to take care of the things at home.
Youâre thinking of the aristocracy, a 0.1% of all of humanity 100-1000 years ago and even then, Catherine the Second is known to be one of the biggest warmongers in history.
Women had the right to vote even before suffrage if they were landowners, which wasnât even an unheard of thing.
You just... Collect ahystorical myths and believe propaganda thatâs meant to make you angry at half the humanity.
This is the second time someone has brought up ancient times to me in this discussion. Iâm not talking about hundreds to thousands of years ago with lords and peasants, the stuff Iâm talking about was applicable definitely before but also during post ww2 north america up until like the 90â˛s. Modern civilization.
Post ww2 - pre 90s NA still saw Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan. Men were randomly chosen to die in foreign countries for reasons they didnât understand. Meanwhile women experienced explosive growth in their rights and representation, while men canât even get the state to fund one abuse shelter.
Tell me. Why would anyone hire a man if you supposedly could pay a woman less for the same job?
Did you know that the equal pay act was passed under Kennedy.
Did you know that before the adoption of the Duluth model, the arrests for domestic violence were roughly 50-50 male-female?
I gotta love how they talked about who decided men were disposable and shit like that, all stuff thatâs been decided hundreds or thousands of years ago...
Then got upset when you pointed out that, during the time period this shit was decided, women were in positions of power and thus had influence over creating them, and tried to backtrack and say âoh, but I only meant post world war 2!â As if post world war 2 women somehow magically lost all the shit they had before.
Also, gotta love that they seriously are even saying people siding with female abusers over their victims is misogyny rather than misandry. Everythingâs gotta be about hatred of women to these people. Nothing could possibly be hatred of men.
I agree that menâs problems are a result of strict gender roles, but it comes across as intensely hypocritical when the one group of people who says theyâre âfighting against gender rolesâ goes, âIâm going to have to wash my hands of thisâ, when it comes to their harming men instead of women.
The real reason itâs a fucking travesty Peter Parker is âstraightâ is that he would have a fucking field day making gay jokes. Imagine Spiderman wit mixed with millennial gay humour. Heâd be unstoppable
worst idea ever. not because of the reasons you think. its because it will backfire so hard in one or both the two ways: it will be used make the most horrible and horrendous takes ever OR and that the most likely one to happen: people will STILL be offended, either because some writer are not bi/homosexual, the quwips will be delcared phobic regardless etc etc. remember in mid 2010s when people wanted companies to be allies and it turned out just to be marketing ploys to make more money? yeah THAT kind of backfire But go ahead and make you monkey's paw wish if you like, we talk again in 5 years when you regret it IF it should happen
The idea of a âbinary codeâ was originally developed in the textile industry in pretty much this exact form. Remember punch cards? Probably not! They were a precursor to the floppy disc, and were used to store information in the same sort of binary code that we still use:
Hereâs Mary Jackson (c.late 1950s) at a computer. If you look closely in the yellow box, youâll see a stack of blank punch cards that she will use to store her calculations.
This is what a card might look like once punched. Note that the written numbers on the card are for human reference, and not understood by the computer.Â
But what does it have to do with textiles? Almost exactly what OP suggested. Now even though machine knitting is old as balls, I feel that there are few people outside of the industry or craft communities who have ever seen a knitting machine.Â
Hereâs a flatbed knitting machine (as opposed to a round or tube machine), which honestly looks pretty damn similar to the ones that were first invented in the sixteenth century, and hereâs a nice little diagram explaining how it works:
But what if you donât just want a plain stocking stitch sweater? What if you want a multi-color design, or lace, or the like? You can quite easily add in another color and integrate it into your design, but for, say, a consistent intarsia (two-color repeating pattern), human error is too likely. Plus, it takes too long for a knitter in an industrial setting. This is where the binary comes in!
Hereâs an intarsia swatch I made in my knitwear class last year. As you can see, the front of the swatch is the inverse of the back. When knitting this, I put a punch card in the reader,
and as you can see, the holes (or 0â˛s) told the machine not to knit the ground color (1â˛s) and the machine was set up in such a way that the second color would come through when the first color was told not to knit.
tl;dr the textiles industry is more important than people give it credit for, and I would suggest using a machine if you were going to try to knit almost 3 megabytes of information.
It goes beyond this. Â Every computer out there has memory. Â The kind of memory you might call RAM. Â The earliest kind of memory was magnetic core memory. Â It looked like this:
Wires going through magnets. Â This is how all of the important early digital computers stored information temporarily. Â Each magnetic core could store a single bit - a 0 or a 1. Â Hereâs a picture of a variation of this, called rope core memory, from one NASAâs Apollo guidance computers:
You may think this looks incredibly handmade, and thatâs because it is. Â But these are also extreme close-ups. Â Hereâs the scale of the individual cores:
The only people who had the skills necessary to thread all of these cores precisely enough were textile and garment workers. Â Little old ladies would literally thread the wires by hand.
And thanks to them, we were able to land on the moon. Â This is also why memory in early computers was so expensive. Â It had to be hand-crafted, and took a lot of time.
I mean letâs also touch on the Jacquard Loom, if you want to get all Textiles In Sciencey. It was officially created in 1801 or 1804 depending on who you ask (although you can see it in proto-form as early as 1725) and used a literal chain of punch cards to tell the loom which warps to raise on hooks before passing the weft through. It replaced the âweaver yelling at Draw Boyâ technique, in which the weaver would call to the kid manning the heddles âraise these and these, lower these!â and hope that he got it right.Â
With a Jacquard loom instead of painstakingly picking up every little thread by hand to weave in a pattern, which is what folks used to do for brocades in Ye Olde Times, this basically automated that. Essentially all you have to do to weave here is advance the punch cards and throw the shuttle. SO EASY.Â
ALSO, itâs not just âlittle old ladies sewed the first spacesuits,â itâs âthe women from the Playtex Corp were the only ones who could sew within the tolerances needed.â Yes, THAT Playtex Corp, the one who makes bras. Bra-makers sent us to the moon.Â
And the cool thing with them was that they did it all WITHOUT PINS, WITHOUT SEAM RIPPING and in ONE TRY. You couldnât use pins or re-sew seams because the spacesuits had to be airtight, so any additional holes in them were NO GOOD. They were also sewing to some STUPID tight tolerances-in our costume shop if youâre within an eighth of an inch of being on the line, youâre usually good. The Playtex ladies were working on tolerances of 1/32nd of an inch. 1/32nd. AND IN 21 LAYERS OF FABRIC.Â
The women who made the spacesuits were BADASSES. (and yes, Iâve tried to get Space-X to hire me more than once. They donât seem interested these days)
Iâm in Venice, Italy several times a year (lucky me!) and last year I went on a private tour of the Luigi Bevilacqua factory.
Founded in 1875, they still use their original jacquard looms to hand make velvet.
Here are the looms:
Here are the punch cards:
Some of these looms take up to 1600 spools. That is necessary to make their many different patterns.Â
Here are some patterns:
How many punchcards per pattern?
 This many:
Modern computing owes its very life to textiles - And to women. From antiquity weaving has been the domain of women. Sure, we remember Ada Lovelace and Hedy Lamarr, but while Joseph Marie Jacquard gets all the credit for his loom, the operators and designers were for the most part women.
Iâve seen this cross my dash a few times, but Iâve never watched the video before. Maybe I just didnât pay attention when I was a kid, but I donât remember ever seeing just how the Jacquard loom works. I just knew that the punch cards controlled which threads were raised. Itâs cool to see the how, not just the what.
so nice of you to only go far enough back to completely disregard of professions in the antique period and even before that. binary has been used for more then just weaving ( DUH) and weavers were also MALE, much more so the further you go back in time i would bet. another halfassed essaey thinking ancient humans were dumb caveman unable to do anything and then reporposed it to make a statement to elevate one sex over the other. fuck you all.

the best visual representation of tryhard white allies that are fans of cultural appropriation discourse is when a majority non-Japanese group tried to protest that exhibit at the Boston MFA where people could try on kimonos (anyone that says there exists a rule that wearing a kimono has racial or ethnic based regulations is literally making shit up that doesnât exist) and was met by Japanese counter protestors and there was a white girl covering up her face so people didnât see she was white
when I learned that men around children are usually taken for paedophiles/child rapists. it never occured to me that men are seen that way as society I always think âwow that man loves children so much, so sweetâ
You may find that more of your male friends/acquaintances who have been around children in public on even a semi-regular basis can describe to you the phenomenon I have dubbed the âpedo glareâ, than you may want to believe. There have been rules on airlines that forbade men from sitting adjacent to children flat-out; that is how far pedophile hysteria has gotten.
The same phenomenon has sadly kept a large number of males from entering or remaining in the teaching profession who would otherwise be enthusiastic about doing so, and the last thing that industry needs is to push away the impassioned, as they have such a positive effect on the youth they educate.
Ironically this also leads to female pedos having better access to kids. Many female pedos falsely accuse men who are trying to SAVE the kid of pedophilia to cover their asses.
The calling card of female abusers in general is rampant misandry. Women who abuse men use it to dehumanise their targets, and women who abuse other women use it to make their victims think what is happening to them isnât abuse.
Iâve made posts about this before, but pedo hysteria and misandry negatively affected my childhood as the daughter of a single father.
Luckily I had an older sister to fill some of the gaps. But if she wasnât there? As a five year old I had to just suck it up. He couldnât escort me to the bathroom or bring me into the menâs room. He couldnât sit in on ballet class. He couldnât chaperone class trips.
And when I was a kid he just dealt with it and would just say to me âDaddies canât do that,â but when I was older I understood why: single men alone with children (especially girls) are considered a threat.
And in my situation, how could you even blame my dad? Someone being suspicious could have ruined his life. Is it worth it to stick it to society if that means being branded a pedophile or even losing your kid?
Bf loves kids. Bf is wonderful with kids. He regularly babysat his little sisterâs gaggle of insane pals when their parents couldnât be bothered, and they all behaved for him. His most loved dream is to be a father.
He tried to apply for a job at a daycare in high school and the woman handing out applications looked at him, all brawny beardy almost six feet of him, and decided right there that he was lower than shit on her shoe, and she treated him as such.
For asking for a job application. While a minor himself. Yeah.
Thats my personal anecdote, but thereâs others of fathers having their children snatched right in front of them by women. When they give chase, the woman just has to scream for help and the father will be chased down and beaten into submission by heroic bystanders while his child is taken away right in front of him. Nobody will ask questions. Nobody will believe a word the father says. Nobody will question the woman. Iâve read about several instances of this. Sometimes they actually find the baby later. Nobody ever seems very sorry that they attacked a man trying to keep his child safe; they just justify that he seemed suspicious.
Boys, men, and fathers are treated like predators by our society.
america has fallen into the state of stagnation... again
the worst possible outcome for the US was biden's election. not because of his politics or trumps "being the right once" (for gods sake no! he isn't). but now the americans will be complacient, lazy and overall accepting of everything given to them because NOW they think they defeated the big bad orange man. Truth is trump is NOT the cause of whats wrong with the US. shit went down the gutter LONG before trump even considered running for president in 2015. No the core issues of the USA will still be there and they will bite everyone in the ass in the near future. The democratic voters will wonder why nothing changed for the better, that shit is still bad after 6 months or a year. the republicans voters will still face their issues. (and of course that is aside from covid) but NOW they do NOT have the big orange bad man in the white house to blame. what will they do then? I dunno. more riots and violence in the streets? maybe, i mean they happened already during obama/BIDEN, an uncomfortable truth most people conveniently seem to forget. Trump needed to be elected once more as president for one simple purpose. !!!!!!!To slap the US awake. To slap democratic voters awake.!!!!!!!!!! because the US political wise is a shit pit and a deeper shit pit. and the DNC has prided it self with being the shallower shit pit. the truth hwoever is neither shit pit, regardless how deep it is, is a desirable outcome. evne if the shit pit was only an inch deep, its still a bad thing. that is the issue with biden winning. He only won with this arbitrary difference. Nothing will get better in the US, nothing will change, as nothing changed before trump. There will only be nicer worded and a more complacient media and thus a more complacient populus. Trump needed to be elected so that the US FINALLY changes its "But he/she/they is/are worse" tactic. celebrate US citizens for you will not have any reasons to celebrate when you realize you once again staggnated your nation. congratualtions.
Thing is, Christianity or Islam (or insert religion or social movement here) may be an overwhelmingly peaceful religion (or social movement), but that still doesnât mean bad things arenât done in their name.
hmmm its like that its a bad thing too generalize an entire group on the actions of a few individuals and declare them as irredeemable and born monsters and what not. coughwhitemencough
Cutting off the letter is also bad form clickbait people, but Iâll get it placed in proper order as it goes
People I like can be divided into two groups: a) those who enjoy and get Charles M. Schulzâs wonderful Peanuts comic strip; b) those fools who donât. All of human life is in the artist and writerâs 17,897 comic strips.
In 1968 Schulz noticed the Civil Rights movement, the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., and read a letter from Los Angeles schoolteacher Harriet Glickman. She had a question for Schulz: would he include a black child in the Peanuts gang?
To which Schultz responded with the letter above, in what reads like an incredibly respectful and progressive manner.
He isnât black and doesnât want to offend the black community by doing them wrong in his portrayal, that would even work today as a reason.
Mrs. Glickman responded:
Dear Mr. Schulz,
I appreciate your taking the time to answer my letter about Negro children in Peanuts.
You present an interesting dilemma. I would like your permission to use your letter to show some Negro friends. Their responses as parents may prove useful to you in your thinking on this subject.
Sincerely,
Harriet Glickman
True to her word, Mrs Glickman showed the letter to others. Kenneth C. Kelly, one of Mrs. Glickmanâs âNegro friendsâ, saw the missive and wrote to the artist:
Dear Mr. Schulz:
With regards to your correspondence with Mrs. Glickman on the subject of including Negro kids in the fabric of Peanuts, Iâd like to express an opinion as a Negro father of two young boys. You mention a fear of being patronizing. Though I doubt that any Negro would view your efforts that way, Iâd like to suggest that an accusation of being patronizing would be a small price to pay for the positive results that would accrue!
We have a situation in America in which racial enmity is constantly portrayed. The inclusion of a Negro supernumerary in some of the group scenes in Peanuts would do two important things. Firstly, it would ease my problem of having my kids seeing themselves pictured in the overall American scene. Secondly, it would suggest racial amity in a casual day-to-day sense.
I deliberately suggest a supernumerary role for a Negro character. The inclusion of a Negro in your occasional group scenes would quietly and unobtrusively set the stage for a principal character at a later date, should the basis for such a principal develop.
We have too long used Negro supernumeraries in such unhappy situations as a movie prison scene, while excluding Negro supernumeraries in quiet and normal scenes of people just living, loving, worrying, entering a hotel, the lobby of an office building, a downtown New York City street scene. There are insidious negative effects in these practices of the movie industry, TV industry, magazine publishing, and syndicated cartoons.
Sincerely,
KCK
Schulz sent Mrs. Glickman a personal note:Â
Franklin was in the gang.
Opening bit till it gets to the letters is mine, most of the rest comes from this article
When Charles Schultz listened to the opinion of a person of color and put Franklin in his comic strip as good representation and somebody still wants to try to cancel him anyway.

The racist stereotypes littered throughout the Harry Potter franchise including the grotesquely anti-semitic goblinâs foreshadowed JK. Rowlingâs later bigotry on twitter
racist teens having their college offers taken away and racist adults getting fired from their jobs? we love to see it. face the consequences of your words and actions
The teens still have room to learn and grow past their racism. The adults? If they didnât learn when they were younger, let them reap what they sowed.
Racism is taught, not something you are born into. You wonât teach anyone to learn by making them suffer, all you do is teach them to hide it.Â
Also, black and brown kids can be equally racist and ignorant. Would you be fine with homophobic black kids having scholarships taken from them and their lives ruined?
Black and brown kids are still children. There is plenty of wrong shit they can be taught.Â
Exactly, so at the age of 15 you should KNOW what is right or wrong. Donât look from the lenses of a white kid. Be honest with yourself.
Little brown/black kids who are much younger, die because theyâre seen as adults or are expected to know right from wrong.
YES! I would be fine with any homophobic person losing a scholarship/job! Treat people right. I know you thought you had a point there, but you didnât.
Shut the fuck up. White kids are always given a damn pass and Iâm tired of it, ruin their damn lives, just like the justice system would do to a black kid.
how to create more racists 101 by these fucking morons : - first assume people can never better themselves - assume people ONLY have their parents as influence and nothing else like friends, school or other social environments - ruin a kids and their parents life - walk away and miss how they grow actually hateful and angry at black people for that very reason - fuel the flames of a racewar with similar actions - surprise pickachu face when these now grown up kids lynch them in that selfmade racewar
Iâm personally enjoying seeing every single Asian and North African subgroup getting tossed under the bus in the name of whatever it is now.
Itâs not enough to just not be white now, the mask is slipping further and further down.
There are Romani people native to India with dark skin, blonde hair, and pale eyes. Some Bedouin people share these features too. Some native Siberians can have pale eyes too. Is that why they cut out Asian and North African people? Because some of them mess up their narrative?
They also ignore a lot of the context of the media they say are âbadâ. Baleful Polymorph trope affects more white than non-white people, Yueâs eyes are blue because that is a feature of her (not being an Earth setting so Earth ethnicities donât exist) ethnicity and her hair is white because of the moon spirit, Atlanteans arenât a real ethnicity, Storm is a mutant and her hair is part of her mutation, Esmeralda is Romani who can have dark skin and pale eyesâŚthe entire OP is a lot of bull.
The mask started slipping when they invented âBIPOCâ, presumably because black people werenât high enough up the Progressive Stack but they didnât want to make it more obvious.
Also, I like how simply having a black supporting cast member is the equivalent to a âMammieâ. Susie Carmichael isnât even that, sheâs a main character meant as a nice counterpart to Angelica, and she has her own struggles and plotlines.
Also, Garnet isnât black. She isnât even human.Â
Pocohantas isnât âopen to invasionâ. In fact, sheâs actively trying to prevent conflict between both peoples. Sheâs a contrast to the more impulsive John. Chel isnât facilitating an invasion either. Sheâs a con woman who goes along with two con men for her own benefit. At first.Â
But she also reduces the power of the evil priest, and helps save the city from Cortes, an actual invader.
Esmerelda is a Romani, not a conventional âPOCâ. Theyâre generally considered white. Plenty of white people have brown skin.Â
I like how they have examples from the Proud Family for Colorism, where Penny Proud - the girl in the middle - is the main protagonist. And the show has a great deal of diverse skin colors, including in Pennyâs own family. The blue girls are a stylistic choice.Â
Also, light-skinned black people exist. Iâm one of them, depending on who you ask.
Agency: Tianaâs the main protagonist. Sheâs the protagonist driving the plot. Even before she was transformed, she was already headstrong and determined.
Or is that an allusion to that stupid cherry-picked meme that claimed non-white Disney protagonists are much more likely to be turned into some animal, while ignoring many non-white protagonists who stayed human the entire movie? Such as, off the top op my head, Mowgli, Bonnie from Toy Story, or Russel from Up? Not to mention many movies where the protagonists arenât even human.Â
Even in Emperorâs New Groove, everyone else in the cast stays human, and Kuzco is a co-protagonist. With a human.
These folks are inventing their own problems to complain about.
In real life tho (and I donât know exactly what this adds but I for some reason found it relevant) I once met a white dude named Paul. He had short, very very curly blonde hair and white skin. Did I mention he was a white guy? Well, turned out that Paul was half black! His facial features and even the way his hair grew⌠Definitely African features, but he was white and his hair was blonde. I donât remember what color his eyes were, but⌠Yeah.
Anyway, for some reason I felt like I should interject with this.
Iâd like to add that the creator of The Proud Family, Bruce W Smith, is a black man who also made the movie Bebes Kids. He also animated Pacha in the Emperors New Groove ans Dr Facilier in the princess and the frog.
I'm still gonna kick your ass, @siryouarebeingbocked , because "Colorism" is an art-term used for an artstyle that uses intense and bright colors only in it's paintings and has nothing to do with race or anything. The term you are looking for is Just plain-ass, normal, everyday, no question about it, no BLM, no year, not named after a person, not named after an activist, not named after MLK's pet goldfish, no quarterback, dime-back, Nickelback, simple, ordinary, un-embellished, unmistakable, crystal clear, as frank as Frankenstein, as blunt as an atom bomb, one compound word: It's MOTHERFUCKING, GODDAMNED, SONS-OF-BITCHIN', FUCK-FUCK-FUCKIN', RACISM!
China is not only breaking the law by violating the autonomy of Hong Kong, but they are also claiming jurisdiction over the entire world. China can prosecute you for violating this law no matter where you are. And depending on where you live, China might be able to arrest you on foreign land. If it is safe for you to do so, please get the word out about this, it is a blatant overreach of power and violation of basic human rights
Demisexual was made up on an roleplaying forum as an excuse for why a character would fuck around with some people and not others.
It was then âimportedâ to Tumblr by one of their users at the time, FactualWiley, as a joke. People then began using it unironically, not realizing it was entirely made up.

Antifa labeled a black man, who has worked to de-radicalize KKK members, a white supremacist at a Pennsylvania event last month.
Let me rephrase that.
Antifa called Daryl Davis a white supremacist.
This man has a better track record at reducing white supremacy then the NAACP.!
But less read the story.
Antifa labeled a black man, who has worked to de-radicalize KKK members, a white supremacist at a Pennsylvania event last month.
Daryl Davis was a speaker at an âEnding Racismâ event organized by MINDS, which was part of a series âintended to create dialogue and promote viewpoint diversity.â Davis, a musician, is a race relations expert who has spent years speaking to and rehabilitating members of groups like the KKK.
About 40 Antifa members showed up to protest âEnding Racism,â which was moved from a New Jersey theater to a center in Pennsylvania because Antifa threatened to burn down the theater, Davis told the Daily Caller News Foundation. Some Antifa members called Davis, who is black, a white supremacist for attending the event.
âI laughed, I thought it was funny,â Davis told the DCNF. âWhat it proves is they had no point. They had no evidence of anything. When it boils down to just name calling people and you donât show any proof and you refuse to talk to them ⌠they refused to even come in. There were no Klansman or Neo-Naziâs in there or alt-right people.â
Antifa was invited to come inside and attend the after-party but refused, Davis said.
Many Antifa members are aware of Davis and the work he has done, he said. Davis attended the 2017 âUnite the Rightâ rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he spoke to members of both sides, continuing his work to help individuals involved in any extremist group to lessen violence and racism in America.
âThey [Antifa] want to shut down any dialogue with racists, people who have differing views of their own,â Davis said. âTheir thing is, you know, just beat it out of them or make it impossible for them to meet.â
Antifa is a âradicalâ group heading in the same direction as the KKK, Davis added. He mentioned the KKKâs typical attire of covering their faces with hoods and masks to cover their identity, noting that âAntifa is now the one wearing the bandanas across their face or the masks.â
âA lot of these groups â letâs take Black Lives Matter, letâs take Antifa, letâs take the Ku Klux Klan â none of these groups today are centralized,â he said. âTheyâre all autonomous ⌠Itâs the same thing with Antifa.â (RELATED: Democratic Congresswoman Defends Antifa As âPeaceful Protestorsâ)
âHalf of them may believe [in] what theyâre doing ⌠they may believe that theyâre doing some good. But I truly believe that the other half of them [Antifa] are simply into anarchy ⌠Theyâre anti-racist, so theyâre gonna go beat up people who are racist â but this is the exact same thing the racists do. Theyâre not behaving any differently.â
Davis has been called âjust about every nameâ from ârace traitorâ to âOreoâ to âa pimp and a prostitute,â he wrote on Facebook. He noted it was the first time he was called white supremacist, adding it âthrew me for a loop.â
âIf it boils down to my being called a white supremacist, obviously theyâve lost the case,â
Davis said. âIf youâre that strong and set in your view, just sit down and have a conversation. Beating it out of them is not gonna work.â
And letâs also remember itâs not just white people Nick Cannon is racist against. He also very much specified Jews as well. Not that, thatâs any worse than being racist towards white people, but we should still remember it.
It is actually worse than just being racist against white people. Iâll reiterate why.
Thereâs a conspiracy theory going around that the first Jews, the first Hebrews, the first Israelites, were black .Like, straight up, afro havinâ black people. And that the white man came in, killing them and stole their religion. Because, you see, âThe Chosen people are the black African people.â
They believe the Semitic people today, the Indo-European branch of humanity that settled and became indigenous to the Middle Eastern lands of North African and Asia Minor, are just Europeans who came down, murdered the natives and stole all their land and wealth. That theyâre not REAL Semites, just⌠the equvalent of what, âThe Black Hebrew Israelitesâ are today.
âHow can we be anti-Semitic when we black folk are the real Semites?â
They may see themselves as an oppressed and endangered culture that needs to eliminate other kinds of people for their impurity and expand to, âreclaim what is rightfully theirsâ (the world,) but they see the Jews as particularly dangerous because they want their legacy as Hebrew people.

In other words Nazis.
Literally Black Nazis.
@ Tumblr: You motherfuckers never shut up about punching Nazis when you want an excuse to break shit and assault people who arenât communists that are minding their own business, put your goddamn money where your mouth is and stop shit like this before it becomes a major problem.
Either that or shut the fuck up and stop pretending you EVER cared about fighting anti-semitism or about Jewish people if youâre just going to roll over and let shitty people be shitty just because of their skin color.
